Wow! China - Chinese restaurant in Chandannagar - Hooghly, India

The restaurant is located besides the G.T.Road near Domino's Pizza. Well decorated. Sitting arrangement is good. This restaurant consists of ground floor only. Food price is moderate but the combos are great and we can buy those at reasonable price. Food quality is good. Hygiene is well maintained.

The food is good, there are absolutely no complaints about that. However if you are looking to for a dine in this is not the ideal place for it. The tables are not cleaned properly and are kind of sticky I don't know why!! The food you order come in paper dishes with wooden forks and spoons. It is alright if momos or fried items are served like that but imagine if you order a soupy meal. Attaching the photographs.

Although Wow! China is usually known for never letting you down, I guess this particular outlet strays from the norm. Firstly, to make it clear, I have no complaints with the food - the chicken coriander soup, prawn wrapped in chicken and chicken khao suey we had were all "wow" worthy. However, when you come to a restaurant, food is only half the picture - I'll be explaining the reasons that blemished our experience and led to the overall "meh" 3/5. Apart from long waiting times (including 40 mins for a simple chicken soup), this place had droves of mosquitoes and flies that begged for attention. The main thing behind our visit - green khao suey - was out of stock - which was a slight letdown as well. Moreover, they don't have any waiters and they don't provide regular water to customers either - bummer. My overall verdict: this is a good place for Chinese/Burmese food **IF** you're planning a takeout, in which case don't hesitate - go for it. If you're looking for a gourmet experience, however, I'd advise looking elsewhere. Will edit my review subsequent to my next visit, if necessary!

This restaurant is just amazing. The dining facility is somehow better than wow momo located just a foot behind of it. I really liked the ambiance and environment. But they took too much to deliver our order that was simple lemonade which was really not expected. Otherwise, a good place for clicking selfies also. It's spacious though the catering system needs some improvement. That's all what I've experienced here. I must tell you to try out their mojito, it's so so delicious & refreshing. Still I gave 5 star because i recommend this restaurant whole-heartedly for everyone even for family or couple too.

Ordered 2 items and experience was not good for me. Items : Chili Fish ( Regular) & Chicken Noodles (Large) Price was appx 350/- The Noodles was Good and I'm satisfied with quality and Quantity also.Full of chicken stripes and veggies. but... When it comes to Chili Fish I'm literally stunned, out of 3 pieces one piece doesn't even contain any fish. I'm just amazed when i found its not even Vetki(just flavorless unknown fish) but it costs about 50+ per price. (3 in the regular box) Even the taste was not Good. Its below average. Overall I will not recommend chili fish go for any other item. There are many good chinese restaurants available in Chandannagar now,try them...

I have ordered chili cheese mushroom and chowmin chili chicken combo they told me they will take 15-20 minutes but when I reached to take my order they told me it will more 10 min , but after 15 min I reached they told me they are preparing and time was 11.25 pm so service is really worst. And I have seen one more thing at 11.30 their female staff is working. I feel this is out of the rules. Dear manager please take proper action in Chandannagar outlet.and food was not good at taste

Recently I visited the chandannagar outlet of wow chaina and as usual it's wow!!! For a Chinese food lover it's a great place. The location is G. T road so it's easily accessible. The staff behavior is cordial. Food quality and taste is delicious. Only one point to be mentioned, those who don't like chilli much should tell them before they prepare the food. Or even before ordering the food you should listen to their suggestions because some chainese items are really chilli flavoured so will be difficult to enjoy for them who don't like chilli much like us. Otherwise they will make the food according to your liking. Price is not very cheap but moderate. Ambiance is enjoyable. Neat and clean ambiance. Can be selected for friends meet or weekend hangouts. I never visited here but I ordered foods from Zomato and swiggy many times. It taste good and bit expensive but they provide much more in quantity. I loved indo chili chicken it's wow and their spring roll
