Woodsvilla Residency - Hotel in Majkhali, Lawasi - Almora, India

We stayed in this property on 1st and 2nd October 2023 property is nicely located they have good parking space We enjoyed our stay and special mention to chef kheem Singh Mehra food was delicious and service boys for their hospitality. Mr Harish Bisht was very helpful and cooperative

Rooms were very nice, spacious neat & clean provided with kitchenette. Outside view from room as well as balcony was amazing. Hospitality was awesome. Good food & ambience. 24*7 room service availability. Wonderful place, must visit.

What a great holiday! Our stay at Woodsvilla Resort, Ranikhtet was very comfortable and nice. The rooms were spacious and with clean toilets and bathrooms which have been recently renovated. The bed was neat and comfortable. The house-keeping staff was very friendly and never uttered a no for an answer. The effervescent smiles on their faces all through suggested that they care for the guests. They actually did. The biscuit platter served in the room every evening with the evening service was tastefully done.The icing on the cake was the attitude of the serving staff in the restaurant which is reasonably priced. The serving staff and the chefs make you feel at home. In fact, more than at home. Above all, the recently launched tea lounge was a great hit with the travelers. Enjoying hot tea round the clock without any cost is the first that we have seen anywhere else. It was a great addition to the otherwise remarkable holiday in the tranquil mountains of Kumaon.

The hotel is in a nice location. From the rooms, one can enjoy the beauty of the Himalaya. The hotel has friendly staff like Raman Sharma, Madan Satyawan and others which make your stay even more comfortable. If you want to be in a calm and quiet place free of city life's hustles, I can recommend you this hotel. The family suits are spacious which our kids have used to run around and play. On the negative side was the taste of the food we ordered for one dinner. The lentils (daal) we ordered had higher salt content. The mutton masala had almost no meat in that. Management should look into this. On the positive side, we got a nice picnic lunch for one of our day trips in Ranikhet.

It was pleasant stay during 18th and 19th Navember 2015 with Woods villa Residency though it was only for one day. Location of the hotel give you a chance to experience nature away from city life. Food & Drinks provided by the hotel was of considerably good taste, hot and prompt. Service quality of the hotel in all respect was very good. hello friends, i stayed in woods villa residency on 2-4 oct 15, location is awesome and rooms are huge and nice, perfect for holidays with family, Staff was polite and cooperative. major concern is the food, it will be nice if you carry a electric cattle or small microwave with you else, i had to wait 30 min for morning tea, overall room service is not up to the mark, buffets are very very expensive, there are no other options for food, nearest restaurants and other options are 9 km/ 20 min away. there are no inhouse kind of activity which they show in promotions, like pool table garden/park etc. Its for woodsvilla resort which happens to be nearby. over all it was a nice experience in terms of stay.

I visited here on 22nd July. It has a nice, spacious, scenic view directly from the window. I was able to see snow covered peaks with bare eyes directly from the window. Food was nice. The best thing that I will always remember about this place was bird song. It starts around 4:30 am till 4:45 am. So, if you guys are planning to go there do experience this. I was a little lost while hearing this amazing sound so couldn't record it. In case you get a chance, please do share the song. - Devesh

Very nice and spacious rooms.. staff was very cooperative except was owner who deals with change of date issue. I booked wrongly on 15th april through goibibo but i needed for 14th april but the owner didnt amended the date infact me and goibibo team both requested them 2 days before only and rooms were available also .. i was very disappointed and my whole family suffered for this.. all my trip spoiled becoz of him..so all people be careful before choosing..
