Wild Kasarwadi - Home Stay in Dandeli, Kasarwadi - Uttara Kannada, India

One among the best resort experiences we've had. This can be easily recommended who like to spend quality time amongst nature, in search of peacefulness since its a hidden area purely in forest. Make sure you save the navigation to the location in advance because you surely have no network on the way, and there are chances of getting lost like we did. On arrival, we got a welcome drink and freshness towel. We booked the mud villas, and they were dreamy.The rooms had all the amenities and were neat and tidy. The food was great with variety, the whole staff were really nice and helpful guided us with so many things. Since it was raining the whole time of our stay, we couldn't entertain kids, but there were so many options for kids to play. The cooks were really kind to help us with baby food on requests. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return again.

Nothing short of 5 stars for this place, The hospitality is top notch, we were welcomed with hot towels, hot lemon and ginger tea and hot pakodas. The rooms were clean and very pretty. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We stayed in the mud rooms and it was very aesthetic and built very beautifully with so much natural light coming into the room. The food was also good but could have done with a little less oil. The team there is extremely good and very courteous and took care of us very well.

We visited here with our family during monsoon season. The location was a personal recommendation through a friend and I would say the experience was pleasantly surprising. Talking of the location, the resort is hidden away from the main human habitation. As the navigation gives at some point of time it was kind of an excercise to find our way, there was a small board on the road leading the way, it's small compared to other boards. Hospitality, we experienced extremely kind and accommodating people at the resort. We had great food and nice conversations with the staff. Nature, the nature surrounding the resort has many wild flora and fauna. The staff are well educated about them, if you are interested they even take you on a small wandering tour to show them at night. Overall, it was a great experience for us , wish we had stayed longer. Planning to visit again.

If you love nature, bird watching, jungle walks, peace, greenery, good food, chilly bonfire evenings, zero music zero honking, zero crowds experience, then please visit Wild Kasarwadi. It's in the middle of dense jungle with 5 star amenities. I stayed for 2 nights in November 23 and cannot wait to go back again.

Had a Mind-blowing experience at Wild Kasarwadi! Sharath and shravan are truly the best hosts that I have come across. The private cottages give an elegant boho vibe and are extremely clean, hygienic, spacious and packed with all the amenities that one could wish for in a 5 star resort. The location is serene and surrounded with greenery and natural elements including a beautiful stream that flows through the resort. Service was top notch and the ever smiling staff just wins your heart the moment you step in. They even entertained our two year old daughter with multiple games that were available while we took a stroll around the resort. The team also organized an amazing evening with kids activities (painting & games) in the open lawn area. The food was insanely good, with so many options to choose from. Highly recommend the kokum soda drink that goes really well with the amazing home cooked meals. Sharath and shravan even helped us with water rafting and safari activities in the area and were spot on with their recommendations. After an exhausting safari trip, we came back to a mesmerizing private setup right across the stream under the starry night where Sharath and shravan gave us the best surprise ever. They really went above and beyond to give us a night to remember. While leaving, the entire team showed up to send us off and it really felt like leaving our home away from home. Really wish we would have booked for a longer stay, 3 nights were definitely not enough. We will definitely make this our yearly getaway to be with the most amazing people :) If you are looking for a dream vacation, stop looking and head on to Wild Kasarwadi. Overall an excellent experience. We wanted an economical and nice get away for a week long vacation and we planned a trip to Goa with our 3 year old. As a week long Goa stay could have been boring, we decided to hop to Dandeli. It was a no regret move. After exploring some options, we decided to stay at Wild Kasarwadi. The property is fairly new and very well maintained. We booked mud cottage. The room, in reality, is exactly as the pics given in the website or in google maps. The rooms have huge windows that oversee the nature/wilderness and gave us the true sense of living in a jungle. Some insects creep into the room but that's what wilderness or dwelling into the nature is all about. A small stream passes just behind the property and it was fun to spend time there even with naughty kids. The property is quite secluded from Dandeli town (and so are most similar properties) and having food at the resort is the only option and was included in room's tariff. But that's not at all gloomy as it sounds. In fact it was good in several ways. Food served was piping hot and very nice. Each time the spread was very good. The service was also excellent. They took care of customization requests for the kid. Now, the best thing: Sharat, the owner of the property, accompanied us for a morning nature walk. We spotted several species of birds and Sharat explained about these birds in a very interesting manner. It was my first bird spotting experience and Sharat made it very interesting and informative. He also carried a book with him to show the details of all the birds we spotted. He also had an app which gave elaborate information along with bird sounds. Apart from this, Sharat and the property manager - Shravan - ensured that we were offered the highest degree of hospitality. Overall, the staff was very courteous, including the operations manager (I'm forgetting the name). About the property: Only the last 1-2 kms of approach road is a kaccha road but a normal car of SUV can easily pass through. The property is a bit away from Dandeli town (around 30 mins drive). This property has 12 rooms (mud cottage, Stone cottage and family cottages). Spread over 10 acres. There's a stream just behind the property. Mud cttages 1 and 2 have a direct access to a portion of the stream.

Went with the family. Had great experience. Its a premium stay with spacious rooms and calm Jungle. Kid friendly, Eco Friendly. Mud houses are a must try. Team also creates a different setups for dinner on occasions viz Birthday/Anniversary.

We absolutely loved our stay with our pet here. The room, the food and the overall environment was superb. This is surely going to be our go to place for a vacation even in the future. The staff is extremely polite and handle everything with care. Our pet enjoyed the place and we couldn't have asked for more.
