One of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Chinsurah, West Bengal. Customer friendly staff, excellent service and the best thing is the tasty and delicious quality of food served in the restaurant. Excellent non veg preparation ( Hats off to Chef). Overall a very nice experience and value for money. The entrance is a bit congested. Looking forward to visiting again.

A very famous Restaurant in the heart of Chinsurah. Location wise it is very easy to reach. Just near Ghorirmore, Chinsurah. The view from the fixed glass windows overlooking the busy market while enjoying your food is great. Now coming to the ambience which is awesome. Loved the paintings and the interior decoration. The staff are very nice,friendly and helpful. The main part being food which was also fabulous. Highly recommended for a visit here if you are in Chinsurah.

I have been visiting this place since my childhood and was never disappointed by the food quality. Excellent food quality within the best price and staffs are always at their best behavior. Ambience is perfect to enlighten your mood with the delicious food.

One of the oldest restaurants in the city Chinsurah,located just 2 minutes walking distance from Gharir More and ambient like mostly as a family restaurant, stuffs are gentle and helpful but serving time is much longer than usual. Food quality good to better, a bit costlier than other restaurants of this town.

Today I have experienced the worst kind of behavior from this restaurant. I have visited this place for a long time, back then it was one of the best in the area. Today we ordered chicken fried rice butter nun and chicken kosha. 1st if all the rice was rotten. Not only ours, a few other tables also complained about that. Then they took the rice with the promise to change it but only heated it. The smell was so bad. Next the chicken pieces were so small, but the price was very high. Next the staff behavior was so rude. They were behaving like we were in the wrong. I didn't expect this kind of behavior. I had high expectations when I took my friends there.

I have ever seen any hotel receptionist is such a big lier. Before going there, we told them that my husband is going for a board cricket match. He is an umpire. When I reached there,after getting refreshed, same was told to them. They charged 1600/-. But today morning,we came to know that from district association ,they have booked some rooms for umpires and other staffs if anyone wants to stays. Just now, we told that why we were not informed from the hotel about the same? They just told us lies that we did not informed that he is an umpire. Like this way, business will not run. Stop telling lies. And stop charging such an amount. In fact , mouse enters the rooms.

Okay so food wise it is good, the taste and all is good but there is a major problem here. Basically we have an egg allergy and therefore wanted to order a veg item - veg friend rice. When enquired that separate utensils are used for veg and non veg, the waiter clearly said "No, then the restaurant can't function". It is the minimum and common case in every hotel and restaurant to have separate utensils for veg and non veg but it seems this is not the case here. For all the people eating veg here maybe you weren't eating veg after all.

The chicken dishes tasted like feet because they were using an immense amount of flour dough with a little shred of chicken. Absolutely ridiculous! Only, the rice dishes were good. But otherwise, a waste of money! Once upon a time, Welcome restaurant was the pride of chinsurah and now??? Such a pitiful way to ruin your reputation.
