Waterfall Ganderbal - Tourist attraction in Ganderbal, Mala Pora - Ganderbal, India

Updated review : Photo update Located just 2 km away from the main town beehama, Ganderbal, this waterfall has been constructed long back by the PDD authorities as an escape channel for a canal that feeds the Ganderbal Hydroelectric Power Plant. So, there is no denying the fact that this is not a natural waterfall, however, I would say, it doesn't matter whether it was made or is natural, the point is, that It is more beautiful and its steep incline forces the water to come down with tremendous speed, that is epic. In summer, witnessing this waterfall, and chilling there is an extraordinary indescribable feeling. It was very nice to spend some time here. The place is very pleasant but it was very hectic to climb up towards the top side. The time I spent there was Quality time. Loved and enjoyed the moments.

Nice place to see in winter snowy season or after snow with full of water

One of the best in Ganderbal.there is no need of tickets.enjoy free sightseeing there and see the mesmerizing waterfall.

Been here recently and there is no waterfall in here just a small stream of water flowing down from a slope which mostly remains dry. The place is not very much worth to visit!

Great but you can't be spending hours here! Just few hundred metres from main market Ganderbal! You can walk up the hill along the waterfall though it's too steep at places especially after rains! Best will be to spent an hour or half while going to Sonamarg or any other place in Ganderbal!It has to be an add on! The place is near highway, so one has to be careful if accompanying children! There are few shops nearby and a link road going up the hill and that would be most amazing experience you will have if you opt for exploring same!
