Wards Lake Bridge - Bridge in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Nice place to have a good picnic... though the locals don't allow to carry anything polythene-based for outsiders but allow the same for locals although you don't litter. Occasionally there are Literary Book fests etc., in the area. You will find most of the people involved in making reels here.

Authentic place for clicking pictures!! It is a really pretty park with a great view of the bridge but you have to pay Rs20 for an adult to visit this particular place and also to wear their traditional khasi dress you have to pay Rs100 but to take out a picture from them it takes around Rs50 and there's no limit for you to try the dress and click pictures and roam around with it overall a great experience it's a must visit place if you are in shillong

A wonderful picnic spot to spend time with family and friends. Its worth to spend some time here. A park in the mid of city with good landscaping and lake. Option for paddle boats is also available which gives a wonderful experience. Caution, mosquitoes can trouble you there. The probleis for boating you have to yake a long walk. Parking is limited and road is one way.

Good lake with scenic beauty well maintained by Govt. The center bridge over lake was under repair. The boating was good The flowers and the scenic beauty near the lake was very attractive. Being tourist they charge you minimal Rs. 20 per head for entry and Rs. 200 for 4 people for boating for 25 minutes and it's worth doing.

Great place to sit and relax. They have a well maintained garden with excellent view towards the lake. Boating is also available. Have neat washrooms as well. You can get khasi costumes for rent as well

Small but beautiful lake, specially famous for the cherry blossom Everyone comes here for the cherry blossom festival and to enjoy the nature. Entry ticket is Rs 20 per adult, Camera charges are extra! Boating rates are Rs 280 per 5 seater boats. Personally felt like a bit overhyped place, but yeah that's a personal opinion! Though one should visit this place if you are crazy about cherry blossom

Nice lake side eco park in shillong, entry fee 50 per head, 20 for children..good views but lake is small in size.

Nice tourist place of Shillong, Meghalaya. It's near Shillong main point Police bazar, 7 - 10 mins walking distance from police bazar. It's open till 6:30pm in evening. Tickets per head Rs.20/- for adults and you can't carry any plastic bottles within the park. You can boat here, in the lake of this park. You can dressed up here like traditional Khasi dress against Rs.100/- per head. Nice place for tourists, must visit place in Shillong.
