VITS Daman Devka Beach - Resort hotel in Daman, Marwad - Daman, India

Great beauty, prompt service staff, but somehow the lack of efficiency and professionalism from Reception was appalling. We checked in and had a great time on day one (Thursday), Friday morning we get a call in the room saying we must clear out. We asked why because we were not even asked how many days when we checked in, and the person who helped us get a room said we could stay as long as we wanted to since it was a weekday anyways. Instead we were asked to pack and leave. How can you ever do this with an existing room guest unless there was some kind of major issue. Welcome to new world hospitality is all I can say. We spent the next 3 hours trying to find a room at the 11th hour. The whole great experience turned out to be a nightmare I'm afraid. And I am a 30 yr experienced Hospitality background person only attached to 5 star Hotels and Luxury brands that actually believe in Hospitality and it's true meaning.

I loved my stay there. The staff is extremely polite, helpful & kind. They helped me every way possible. For meals, they even insisted we try on different things from the menu. Super cool. The rooms are amazing, very cozy & ideal as they're separate cottages. Loved the vibe. The two pools are the best thing ever. They ensure the privacy. Haven't used them this time but be sure to visit again to use the pools. Overall loved my time, will visit again. It's just there on Devka beach, 5 minutes away. The location is awesome.

Cottages are excellent. Staff is very supportive. Especially Radhe at reception & Daksh at restaurant. Please provide more option for Jain food. Also provide fridge in every room.

The cottages are clean, posh and spacious including the toilet. This place is good for photos as the cottages look beautiful from the outside. But the swimming pool area is not monitored properly. Even though its mentioned to not drink and smoke in the pool area, people still do it there due to the absence of the staff which is very upsetting especially for family and kids. The main reason to book this place was the pool but we didn't enjoy there because of this. Also the staff is polite but the room service is quite slow, I gotta call twice for everything. Breakfast was good with different varieties. Would definitely recommend this place for 5k or less.

Recently visited here with friends and had a one night stay. The property is very spacious having nice cozy rooms. They have rooms as well as houses. The room can accommodate 3 people easily. The property has a couple of swimming pools which are well maintained. One of the swimming pool was under maintenance . The only thing can be improved is the food preparation time. When we reached there at around 3 PM and ordered food it took almost 40 min to prepare. Also Check out time should be a bit late as 10 AM check out is too early for people who are coming to spend holidays.
