An ancient home modified to a hotel. Vintage looking, reminiscent, nostalgic are the words that could describe this place. Though I had a short stay here, I really liked the ambience of the place. It has all modern amenities such as Air conditioners, westernized restrooms etc for our comfort. Definitely recommended place to stay in Pondicherry.
The place is of a old vintage home where it's modified to suit a commercial purpose.
The rooms needed deep clean, cob webs and dusty furniture were a part of the room, in addition to it the sheets were not clean, which we asked to change and got it done.
No active kitchen, no food beverages were available.
No property parking, car had to parked on road.
Unless u are going for the common areas, I would recommend this place

Please save yourself from mosquito by not booking this place. There is a lot of mosquito here and they don't even bother to have a mosquito bat or some preventive measures. Looks like all the guest have this mosquito issue here

Vintage style villa which provides peaceful environment for holiday stay. Bedsheets alone alone not that much cleaner which disappointed me. Rooms and bathroom are neat and clean. Outside garden and swing makes the place more attractive. Overall definitely recommended stay.

We had a great stay at Bay Stays! The room was clean, had a cute design, and was affordable with a fantastic location. Our host, Vignesh was very helpful. However, I do have a concern about the towels we used as they left a white cast on our clothes.
The property is beautiful with a chique look. The interiors are a urban and upbeat with colours that are palatable to the eyes and we'll coordinated.
The service is impeccable and the in-house dining is worth its money not to mention it's tantalizing
