Very nice place, centre of the town, easy to access and explore all restaurants, beach, temples and churches. Room is very good with access to swimming pool. An affordable and classy looking place. The bathrooms have 24*7 hot water, very good and clean. Roof top restaurant is very good, complimentary breakfast is decent. The down side is there's no car parking. Only street parking at owner's risk.There are paid parking spaces nearby. Service is good.
Good rooms . We took the super deluxe . A bit old fashioned . Nothing on the balcony . Just for namesake . Adjacent to the building . They charge double for the water bottle. Complimentary 2 litres are given per day . The swimming pool view is good but too much chlorine in the water . Decent free breakfast.. The pics are as shown in the website . Walkable from rock beach . Good place to stay
We spent 2 nights at Villa Du Ocean in October. The staff was quite accommodating in terms of our check in and check out timings. The room was quite spacious and we liked the heritage - home feel of the furniture and the floor tiles. However the washroom could perhaps use a deep cleaning as the tiles seemed murky. We got a bath towel with a stain which dimmed the vibe. The switches in the room are also confusing, we had to use multiple switches to get the fan to work The location of this place is excellent and within walking distance to most of the places we wanted to visit in white town and is also very close to the promenade beach.
Lovely place in a great location a few minutes from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Room very clean and spacious, tasty Indian and Western breakfast. Helpful staff
Nous avons passe un excellent moment dans cet hotel ! La chambre etait tres spacieuse et propre, meme la salle de bain ! Il y a un petit balcon. Certes il n'y a pas de vue mais entre la piscine au 3eme et le restaurant en terrasse au 4eme, vous compenserez. La piscine est petite mais tres propre et peu de monde semble s'y baigner. Le petit dejeuner est correct. Nous avons dine 2 fois au restaurant et nous nous sommes regales a chaque fois. Tout le personnel est courtois et agreable. La literie est tres confortable ! Nous avons passe un excellent sejour bien reposant.

We booked the suites and the rooms were stinking and when it rained there was water inside the room near the window. There was a cockroach in the room.The manager was very rude when we told about the rainwater.Only positive thing is the location but you will get many hotels in French colony. Not at all worth the money they charge

We had a great stay at Bay Stays! The room was clean, had a cute design, and was affordable with a fantastic location. Our host, Vignesh was very helpful. However, I do have a concern about the towels we used as they left a white cast on our clothes.
