Room is good, lavish. But the service people have to have some level of hospitality. Stay I liked because of new hotel feel. But new hotel also has some pending work unfinished. Hot water wasn't available. Mostly connection yet to be done. In my room, as it was last room which they finished interior work mostly few days back hence intercom connection was pending. Food delivery was delayed, food was hygienic and tasty. But they donno to make fresh lime soda,
Place is infested with bed bugs(khatmal).Bumps all over the body. Also No wifi,No recharge in TV, No Geyser(they provide warm water in buckets). Only positive thing is station proximity.
Good hotel.but I want to suggest one thing to owner that you must equip hotel with free which is available in almost all hotels which is very basic amenity. Looking forward for this in my next stay.
The hotel is just opposite to Gwalior railway station opposite to platform 1. Just walkable distance from the station. Prime location. There are two options in this hotel. The budgeted side is DHARAMSHALA and LAVISH side is Vidhichand Inn. We chose the budget side double room which was very compact. The toilets were clean and the room was good. Not cozy. They have restaurant in the lavish side and can order the food from the room. 2 & 4 wheeler parking too available. Next to this property is DB city mall and within 500 meters you can find many shops like eatables,mobile shops, ice cream shops ect... outside the hotel you can find autos and e rickshaws.
Very neat and clean and at a very reasonable price. The location is also very close to the railway station and bus stop - all in a walkable distance. Parking is free. The behavior of staff is also good. The one thing which I found missing is the room service; though everything is available in near vicinity, still one may consider it specially when staying with family. Over all a very nice place to stay with family.
