It's a completely novel experience at the dead of the night (long after the gates are closed for the day) with only a few others to give you company. The lighting at the Victoria Memorial at the light makes it a strikingly attractive object in sea of darkness around it at the Maidan region where it is located, giving an example of a real crown in jewel of the city.
Well this is one of the finest monument in India that was built by Britishers. Huge colonial style palace is surrounded by lush green well maintained garden. It is a very pretty sight during day, didn't experience the view at night though. You can also opt for a Victoria ride in front of the palace. Overall worth a visit
