VHC Art Gallery | Vida Heydari Contemporary - Art gallery in Pune - Pune, India

We were looking for places in/around Koregaon park and found this art gallery online. Went there and it turned out to be a great experience. It's a minimalist art gallery with a cozy cafe too! Had a good time there!

The contemporary theme is really well depicted and the artwork is good, glad that i visited but I hope there are more artworks overall must visit

Cute place with amazing exhibits with unique artists but it's a small art gallery. I expected the area to be a little bigger but it's pretty small. Overall it was a nice experience, but I wish they'd expand the space more.

If I talk about the last show common ground "While I respect the efforts put into artist selection, I couldn't help but feel that some of the chosen artists may not align with the desired level of professionalism. It might be beneficial to reconsider the criteria or approach for future selections to ensure a higher standard of artists in the program."

Best of both worlds: fine food and fine art! When I discovered this place in Pune, I was over the moon. It reminded me very much of my favourite place to visit back home: Museum of Contemporary of Art Australia. Given what the world has become in the last few months, life is better when there's good food and great art. I am glad we get to experience it at VHC. I was surprised by the quality of the food when I first tried it a few months back with some friends. This second visit of late certainly didn't disappoint but if I were to give genuine feedback, I would say consider curating a simple and healthy kids menu as there isn't one available. That would definitely bring us back regularly! Nonetheless, thanks to the staff at VHC as they were wonderful and very attentive towards our kids needs. Apart from the food, the highlight for us is the diversity of artworks exhibited at VHC. Our kids love to stroll through the gallery and converse with the staff about the different art on the display there. We look forward to visiting again soon!

I visited the place to see Vivek Vilasini's Between One Shore and Several Others. VHC is a small but a poignant place. You can sit there on the tiny bench in the middle of the room and get lost in the art displayed on the walls. You can ask the Manager around to take you through the artwork and they do a fabulous job. When I was there I met Shaygan and he explained the technicality of Vivek's art and how the walls sketch his global journey during the pandemic. For someone with no knowledge of micro photography or long- exposure photography, the walkthrough was very helpful.

Saw the pictures from Google maps and visited this gallery under the impression of it having all of what is shown; turns out it's only 1 piece of art on display for a period of 2 months. And this was not mentioned anywhere. Utterly disappointed to see just one tiny room with 1 piece of art. But yeah, kudos to the artist and the art nevertheless. Hoping they expand the gallery in the near future.
