The hall can easily occupy 200 people at ease. Rooms are of good quality attached with amenities like T.V , AC. Lift facilities and restroom were good. Easier to find the hotel location. Had a prayer hall on top most floor and meeting hall as well. Service at dining hall was on the downside (4 out of 5 stars) since it cannot occupy all people at once. It can comfortably occupy 50 persons at once. The rates charged for any function to be held is around 1.1k per person as on October 22.(excluding separate rooms).
I stayed in this hotel just after the opening of Hotel's operation 19 or 20 years ago. One of the Very Best Hotel in Chennai and Reasonable rates. Good clean spacious rooms. After 20 years I am here again just to see the building.
I have been visiting this hotel's buffet for over 15 years now. The staff is attentive, ensuring your plates are cleared promptly and your drinks are always topped up. It's this aspect of familiarity and consistent service that keeps me coming back. However, I must admit that the taste of some dishes has started to lose its luster. While the selection is still vast, a few of the staples that used to tantalize my taste buds seem to have undergone some changes, and not for the better. While there's room for improvement in the taste department, I'm optimistic that with the right adjustments, it can once again capture the hearts (and taste buds) of its long-standing patrons.
We booked a hall for team meeting. The hall was full of damaged wall and peeled off paints. We had to literally beg for drinking water everytime. Also the lunch plates were not clean and full of stains. There was even a small dead cockroach in one plate. Immediately the service guy plucked that plate and gave me another plate by cleaning it with a tissue paper. Need a huge change in service and cleanliness
I stayed in 309 recently. It is a well maintained hotel. I really happy with the room. Room service is really good in the hotel. Breakfast was really nice.
Very nice hotel in Egmore, Chennai. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. It has a centralised air-conditioning system. Variety of complimentary breakfast available. Food quality is also good. Staff is courteous and well mannered. Housekeeping staff is well trained and punctual. Overall experience is very good.
I personally love this place ... I have been here for years .. but this is the first time I went with my children .. food is awesome as always .. even small children were able to enjoy the food .. it was so fresh .. not crowded ..
This hotel disappointed me.Very bad hotel Rooms also very old and beds are also not comfortable even staffs are not friendly they using abusing languages. Foods are also not hygienic and not good in taste Ac ventilation is also not good. Don't go to this hotel waste of money Taking so much money but not happy with the service. Lifts also very slow for lift you have to wait so long.
