Excellent dinner buffet but expensive. Taste was good and good ambiance. Been there more than 5 times. Good customer service. Washroom could have been maintained well considering it has 5 star.

I recently had an amazing stay at ITC Grand Chola with my wife and two toddlers, and it was nothing short of fantastic! The breakfast spread was mind-blowing - I've never seen such an extensive and delicious selection. Our kids had a blast in the small play area on Sundays, where they even got adorable balloon animals. The pools, including the baby pools, were clean and not overly crowded, providing a perfect spot for family fun. A special shout-out to Monica from the staff, who not only showed us around the property but also interacted warmly with our kids. Our room had a fantastic view, and we were treated to a spectacular Diwali fireworks display at night. We've visited the hotel multiple times and have always had a great experience with no complaints. The only hiccup was the bar closing earlier than Google mentioned - perhaps a one-off for Diwali or a timing update needed. Nevertheless, it didn't overshadow the overall fantastic experience at ITC Grand Chola. We'll definitely be back for more memorable stays!

Service can be better. There is always an air of supremacy amongst the waiters as though we are eating for free. Improve your service. Ask the waiters and hotel staff to be a bit courteous. I rent rooms for my office guests there and also entertain them there.

It is a jewel of Chennai. The rooms are lovely . An ITC speciality. I particularly loved the food here . Whether it is breakfast or lunch , it was endless and extremely tasty. The decor was so lovely that we felt like staying in a palace . Service too was good . Overall

During my recent stay at this hotel, I encountered a mix of positive and negative experiences. As a loyal gold elite customer, I was eligible for a complimentary upgrade; however, I was disappointed when the hotel denied my request. Only when I expressed willingness to pay was a room upgrade made available, which felt somewhat unfair given my loyalty status. On the positive side, the hotel amenities were generally good. The facilities provided were satisfactory and contributed to a comfortable stay overall. It's always appreciated when a hotel offers a range of amenities that enhance the guest experience. The majority of the staff members were friendly and accommodating, which added a pleasant touch to the stay. Their helpfulness and positive attitude contributed to a more enjoyable experience, and it's always encouraging to encounter such amiable hospitality. However, I did encounter an issue with the room itself. Despite staying in a one-bedroom apartment, which should have offered a higher level of comfort and convenience, both balcony doors were stuck. Opening them required some effort, which was a minor inconvenience but still detracted from the overall experience. In conclusion, while the hotel amenities were good and the staff members were generally friendly, there were a few drawbacks that impacted my stay. The denial of a complimentary room upgrade for a loyal gold elite customer was disappointing, and the stuck balcony doors in the one-bedroom apartment were a minor inconvenience. It would be beneficial for the hotel to address these issues and ensure that the overall guest experience aligns with the expectations of loyal customers.

I went to this iconic hotel for attending a company function. Every inch of this hotel has luxury in it. Parking is an exception to it, parking areas in the basement can be maintained better. Banquet halls were grand and food was like any other star hotel, good quality and tasty food were served. Staff service during the function was below average, even some staff while directing us to the halls were not very friendly. Probably they treat rich customers in a friendly manner not other working white collar people.

Visited the Avartana restaurant - a lovely fine-dining restaurant. Great food and ambience. The experience is memorable. Choose the 13 course dinner only if you have a large appetite
