Host was hospitable. Parking space available for cars if you have own vehicle. The rooms were clean. The view from the room was awesome. You can enjoy the view of complete Shimla from your room or the sharing balcony. The bedsheets and quilts should be cleaner. Soaps to be provided in the bathroom. Not a very accessible place for elderly people or people having knee problem.

The homestay and the people are really nice and helpful. The location is good at the outskirts of the city. hassle free stay. Beautiful view, spacious room. A few things needs improvement like 1. Electric cattle can be provided in room else you have to go down each time to fetch hot water. 2. TV can be made in operating condition instead waiting for the guest to request. 3. Bathroom can be cleaned by removing existing used soap pieces. (else bathroom is clean and spacious) 4. Shampoo / Soap / Towel can be provided to guest at the time of entry itself instead waiting till asked for. Overall enjoyed the stay.

room view was awesome.. place is abt 20-25 mins away from main shimla.. otherwise if u wish to relax with ur loved one and keep yourselves away from the hurdles of city.. its a best place. it was just me and my son who went there.. room was good.. host is a good guy.. he gives respect.. I kust recommend

We enjoyed very much here. Ajay sir is very cooperative and canteen staff is also very kind. Room is clean and every facility was provided in room like hot drinking water, hygienic food and geysr was also in room.I would like to come again here. it was a great experience to stay here. there is no need to go outside for your daily needs. canteen is situated below where you can order food and within 400 meter there is general store and medicine store and distance from Verma stay and station is 30 min by Taxi and if you are catching train in the morning then please go 1 hr before train time to avoid traffic jam.

It's very nice and peaceful hotel.Its very clean hotel and will get pure veg quality food.Staff is very polite and helpful. Owner of the hotel Vrama ji also very helpful.I am happy to saty here again.only problem is hotel is quite far from mall but will get private/public busesin 50rs per person.Cab will charge more than 600 so we use bus services. Bus will stop in front of hotel so no need to walk at all.

Verma's homestay is an amazing place to spend your days when in Shimla. The views from our room was quiet mesmerising. The valley view was indeed spectacular. The rooms were very clean and spacious. They provided bed linen, towels & a soap. The washroom was clean & big too and geyser was also available. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on with most wonderful window views. The owner Mr. Ajay Verma was helpful & polite. He helped us get a cab to go around Kufri, Local sightseeing for Rs2400/- and for Mashobra & Naldehra Rs2400/- If you're coming by bus, it'll cost you Rs800/- to reach Verma's Homestay by taxi from the taxi stand at the bus stop. Otherwise the cab arranged by the owner charged Rs600/- to drop till the Shimla bypass bus stop. Ola/ Uber are rarely available or next to none due to the hilly terrain. You'll have to get a private cab anyway when in Shimla. Loved the hospitality at Verma's homestay as the staff was very courteous and the meal they provided were very delicious and were as good as home cooked meals. They have vegetarian/ egg dishes options in the menu. We stayed there for 2 nights & 3 days, everything for lovely as this place was a budget stay with all the amenities. Booked via Booking.com (Rs4,400) for 2 nights 3 days. Stay dates 12 June - 14 June Verma's homestay was our home away from home.

hotel was good for the person who likes peace and no rush. for food, there is no restaurant around so have to eat in hotel's small restaurant where taste of food is not so good as per what they charge. Good and helping behavior of hotel owner and workers.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family and found the place very cosy. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to return. Rooms were good and clean. Staffs are really polite and supportive. Owner is very supportive & wonderfully patient and helpful.. Nice homestay to spend a secluded time with beautiful view for budget stay. The place is not that far from the city but is away enough for a peaceful time. Nice view point. Only thing to point out is that there are no amenities provided in the washrooms like hand towel, soaps etc.
