Small decent property. The manager is quite helpful and very courteous. Rooms are okay considering the budget kind of accomodation. Location is not bad but parking can be an issue at times. Breakfast is quite limited but home cooked. Front desk manager is helpful in providing most of the local information.
Must say, has a pleasant stay here. Staff were courteous and helped us in queries. Although breakfast was not up to the mark, still staying here is recommended for budget stay. If you get room in first floor, you'll not get WiFi. Staff will help you in arranging rented 2 wheeler's and four wheelers in reasonable price. And are always has been there for all our queries. Was happy with the stay.
The time we went, these guys were just starting out. I had booked a room for 2 via Oyo Rooms. The room is amazing even though the decor is kind of tacky. It had one big bed for 2 people along with one extra bed for 1 person. I paid around rs.2500 for 3 days, 2 nights. There was no hot water, no Hindi/English channels on the TV even though the one in the lounge had ALL channels. We ended up not watching TV at all and neither did we get to take a hot water shower. We had to use a heating coil that we got only on the third day. They kept insisting that hot water will come in the morning.
Tl;dr- service is quite bad but understandable. They're just starting out so venture in with care
Located while entering Pondicherry, the place is a bit inside from the main road, though they have a banner of the hotel at the entry point of the lane, its quite difficult to find if you are not paying full attention while searching. Once you find the banner, its hardly 50mtr from there.
Hotel staff is very nice. Clean and clear rooms and restrooms. A value for money hotel.
This was the worst part of my trip. No breakfast, no toiletries, uncleaned washroom with compact room without ventilation. It was suffocating and was the sad part of my trip. Oyo is know for bachelor's, I would never recommend this for a family stay. As its way pathetic as you can even imagine. I wouldn't be paying 500 for this sort of room for which I had paid 2k per day.
Please think 100 times before you decide to stay in any of the Oyo stays or this motel.
I really felt comfort of the services that was given by Mr. Wilson bart. Peaceful environment. Safe place to stay in Pondicherry. Room was very neat and clean.
