I have taken my kid for Eye checkup here on 24thNov2022. Dr.Mamatha has assisted us understanding his power and spec issue details. With 2-3 iterations of verification, where we had do visit the clinic for 2 times, and given the right power details for my son.
Previously I have taken him to two different well known Eye checkup centres in Bangalore and they were urged to share the readings and the given reading for the Glass was not so comfortable for my kid and not wearing it.
Very poor experience. Dr. Usha seemed arrogant and a bit unorganized. I went to get my spectacle prescription checked and was recommended Barrage laser treatment for lattice degeneration and on the day of the laser treatment, they dilated my eyes, collected the payment and then realised that the laser machine is not working. Makes me wonder when was the last time they used it. It didnt stop there, i had issues post surgery as well, wherein my eyes started watering continuously and it went on for almost 2 months. She said it's because of allergy- (For 2 MONTHS). Then to top it all I was given eye drops with steroids which caused cataract formation and now 10 months later i have almost lost vision in one eye due to a cataract that quickened most probably due to the steroid based eye drops they prescribed, and I am only 40 yrs old. Do avoid if you can, there are much better eye care clinics.
I am looking for zero star for this hospital and irresponsible at any point of time. They don't care about reports and doctors will be keep on changing. Every time you visit they will say I don't know your report as previous doctor is not available. Why we need to keep on showing reports for new doctors as all reports done by your hospital? I wasted my parents time for almost 2 years with this hospital and now they are in eye surgery status. BETTER TO BE FAR FAR AWAY TO THIS HOSPITAL AND ONE OF THE BEST CHEATERS IN HOSPITAL ERA...
The people there are not at all cooperative. The staff is not helpful. You need to beg and ask what next to do. I went for the dilatation process but they refused saying there is power cut. If a patient is in emergency, i dont understand how can a hospital ask the patient to leave because to.the service cannot be provided due to power cut. Overall a pathetic experience and worst staff i have come across till date.
Don't ever go there. Worthless doctors all very young and inexperienced. Vasan eye care is just after your money. They will pressurize you to go for surgery. Also worst part is they don't share your glasses power details at the end of visit you have to ask for it. Go to Narayana netralaya instead.
I have just read all the reviews and I am shocked to see that even though the service is so bad yet the hospital has not made any changes in there services.
But I want to tell all the users to NOT TO MAKE THEIR SPECS FROM THIS SHOP never if you love your money, your eyes and time. I got my glasses from them - one for 2500 and one for 900 and there is absolutely no difference in the features (though the shop owner will tell you lots and lots of features with lots and lots of money adding on with them).
Not only this but after I took my glasses they dont clear up properly and there are a lot of patches that are forming. I went there and he said that clear them daily with water. So now I am clearing them daily with water and still there is no difference.
ABSOLUTE WASTE OF YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY AND TIME.
Very bad Optical shop. Too expensive and very limited frame choices available..Though the Vasan doctors recommend to this shop. The lens alignment and service delivery is very poor here. Never get your glasses done from here. Only you can go for a check up.
