This was truly a great experience staying at vanilla county. Their make sure we get a homely feel at the same time make us feel completely comfortable. I would like specifically call out their crew, who helped us with extremely authentic Kerala cuisine and best in class bakes. They have a private stream and a protective Labrador called coffee.our kids had great fun.Thank you for this experience.
We were a large group of family with two kids and we absolutely loved our stay here. We were looking for a peaceful getaway for a night and vanilla county delivered and more. The house is gorgeous, brimming with old world charm but with all modern luxuries. I loved the fact that the garden was mainly comprised of native flora. You will be amazed by the numerous butterflies flying all around you. There is a lovely stream near by & though it was rocky, we couldn't resist taking a dip in it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And the food...was the icing on the cake. I am originally from Kerala & is no stranger to the food or the setting. Even then, vanilla county impressed me and the rest of the family. Not to mention Coffee the adorable lab who was a constant entertainment for us all. He is very well behaved & will keep away if you prefer that. Vanilla county will serve well for those looking for a peaceful getaway in a natural setting :)
Staying at Vanilla County was an exceptional experience. Quality of food and service levels were exceptional. Vanilla County being a Home Stay is suitable for groups and families. May stay was with my friends and there was enough space for camaraderie and fun. Opportunity for experiencing the nature are plenty . For those who love adventure , swimming in the river, trekking in the hills etc are available. Some locations are a bit dangerous and all the needed precautions should be taken.
No words to say ...its a beauty in Vagamon .Everything from the ambience to the layout has been carefully done. People are so humble ,they make you feel at home ,the minute you step into their premises .The rooms are so tastefully done and the small streams and waterfall inside the premises add to the beauty of the place . I came from a polluted Delhi with headaches and heavy eyes and the minute I was there and took a dip in the natural stream all my ailments were forgotten .I checked the AQI and it was showing 11.0 This is a paradise on earth ,there is no doubt about it .The nature walks are all such a pleasure walks ,never miss this place .
Beautiful place to stay. The most friendly owners and staff. Food is amazing. You can go there even only for the food. We had a very enjoyable walk through the estate. Totally recommend.
A perfect retreat for all those who are looking to disconnect from the hustling city life and reconnect with nature. I visited this property with my friends and it turned out to be no less than a safe piece of haven for all 3 of us, wherein we could relax and rejuvenate. The property is located a bit away from the Vagamon town so you are away from the noises. The staff is brilliant and is their to do everything possible to make you feel home. The food is lip-smacking good. The hosts, the staff- everyone is just so warm and friendly. Absolutely recommend it.
I had an excellent experience in vanilla county during my stay there. The place is so cozy and peaceful for a comfortable stay. Food was authentic Syrian Christian cuisine. Staff is very courteous and they provide highest level of customer service
Really amazing stay, very well done by Mathew and Silu. The best attraction is the surprise is the handsome doggy, Koffi, who truly stole all our hearts. Food was really top-notch, the homemade cookies for grabs and the gift packet ar check-out were special. The bungalow radiates a kind of quite luxury aura from a different era, which has been preserved very well. The staff are really courteous and make the guests feel welcome every second. The only downside was the curvy road just a few meters from the property, where people honk like crazy both day and night.
