The Highlander - Resort hotel in Vagamon - Idukki, India

We stayed in the Highlander for two nights and we must say it was our best stay till day in Vagamon. The Highlander was the perfect retreat for us, who wanted a quiet and beautiful little spot. Vipin, who was the caretaker was a perfect host as he prepared all the food and ensured that everything ran smoothly. The room was neatly kept and well organized. The view from our room was simply spell binding. This place is definitely recommended for those who prefer a quiet place, far from the madding crowd.

The best place for a stay-cation. Never seen a tidier room before in any other resorts . Absolute zero noise pollution. The property is surrounded by tea plantation and that adds generously to its ambience. The staff takes extra care in keeping the place clean and hygienic. The food they provide was home made and commendable. Our kids are huge fans of highlander now. A big 5 star for the rooms , pool, services .

The best place to spend some calm and quiet time with your family is in the mountains. It's a destination that allows you to connect with nature and experience tranquility firsthand, making it ideal for a family staycation. The mountains are calling, so heed their call.

Good place with wonderful ambience and the view is also stunning. Also Mr Vipin was very polite and helpful wonderful hospitalility too.

This is a premium homestay rather than a resort. The property is located amidst a tea plantation and the surrounding view is unobstructed and beautiful. You'll have to go through an offroad stretch for about 10 - 15 minutes to reach here, which would be nice on a bike but tiring in a car. What made the stay even better was the polite and always ready to help caretaker, Mr. Vipin. Bonus points to the delicious tea that he makes. I would highly recommend this place to any couple that I know.

Had a wonderful stay , such an unwinding experience the staff were so friendly and polite. The property is well maintained and feel so calm and quiet. Nice location with beautiful views around. Highly recommended. We family had an amazing memorable stay and would definitely come over.

The Highlander was an experience like no other! The view were super amazing. ... Very good place for some peaceful time. Resort staff Farmaan was very much attentive and very helpful. View from balcony was the best. Room was five star clean and elegant. Food is okay. Taste can be improved. Recommend for sure.

Excellent place to spend your vacation. Truly loved this place. It is so close to nature...the view of the mist covered valley, the sunrise and the sunset is amazing !! The staffs were very friendly and courteous. Food was amazing too!! Clean and well maintained pool with a play area for kids. Would highly recommend this place ....
