It was a nice and welcoming stay at Valley Heritage. Our host Captain Hameed took great care of us, he made sure we feel like home in Srinagar and arranged authenticated Kashmiri food for us. He also arranged a cab and a very good guide who explained about the culture of Kashmir. Rooms were nice and cozy with Kashmiri carpet and curtains. Nice view of snow mountains from the window. Overall 5 star experience for me and my family. Thank you captain Hameed and Khalid.
Very good hospitality provided good food and accommodation provided. Wifi facility is also available here. Neat and clean rooms.
Here are my observations about this place, which would give you a clear idea of what to expect 1. Location: This place is totally isolated and far from the city. The only mode of transportation available is private taxis. There aren't any good restaurants at walking distance. There are couple of places which delivers though. 2. Rooms: I would describe this place as a "lodge" 3. Food: We ordered dinner on the first day and breakfast the rest of the days. We decided not to order dinner from there after the first day. 4. Furnishings: Carpets, furnishings and towels have definitely seen better days and needs refurbished

A little away from the city but closer to the Mughal gardens. Homely atmosphere with Imran and Khalid ready to help with anything. The rooms are decent sized and there's WiFi as well! Quite a few fruit trees within the compound.
Amazing hospitality by Hameed sir (owner of the property).. we were in Srinagar from 24th Dec 2021 till 1st Jan 2022.. the entire stay in Kashmir was awesome.. throughout the stay we were given amazing food.. We experienced upto -13 degrees.. but the property had room heater and also a heater connected to bed which keeps us warm throughout the night for good sleep. This was really comfortable during this cold season. On 31st December they arranged Barbeque with Mutton and Chicken and on 1st Jan at the time of checkout we were given pastries and burgers as New Year special.. this is not like treating a customer.. it's more of a family.. At few areas where the hotels were closed and no service during winter, Mr.Hameed managed to get tables and even food which we can't see anywhere.. he has a separate Kitchen from where he manages to get hot food to serve customers.. I have written only a bit.. people will experience only when they get to meet him.. Don't miss to visit Kashmir.. I loved it..
