I had an amazing two-day escape at Wagamon Heights with my family and another, staying in the charming Woodside Cottage. The resort's vast 250-acre estate, featuring only five cottages, ensured a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The variety of adventurous activities, including ziplining, bungee jumping, kayaking, and more, added an exciting touch to our stay. The personalized attention to detail was evident in the well-maintained facilities and the attentive staff. Our Woodside Cottage was not only cozy but provided a comfortable retreat amidst nature. The resort's commitment to limited occupancy made our experience serene and exclusive. The highlight was undoubtedly the adventurous activities; each one was a thrilling adventure, making our stay memorable. One of the standout aspects was the delicious and homely food. From lunch to dinner, breakfast, and tea, every meal was a culinary delight. The resort's emphasis on providing a home-like dining experience added a special touch to our overall enjoyment. In essence, Wagamon Heights offers a perfect blend of tranquility, adventure, and excellent hospitality. It's a hidden gem that ensures a rejuvenating experience, making it an ideal choice for families seeking a memorable getaway.
A very relaxing experience. The food was so good and satisfying almost like a homely preparation. The staff were very professional and helpful. The key highlight is the resort campus itself. You need not leave the campus if you are a person who likes the experience of living and walking in the woods and enjoying the nature without the crowd. If you go out to the usual tourist spots in Vagamon you'll waste time waiting in traffic and queues most of the time. Best is to plan to spend most of your time within the campus exploring their fun sports, like ziplining, rope walking etc, visit their lake and boating and walking through the campus. If you book well in advance you'll get very very good quality rooms. If you book in the last minute you might end up in a very basic and older room but that's due to demand for better rooms. So we have to be planning these things in advance.
Me and my friends were planning on a one day stay, Vagamon Heights looked like the right choice and we were amazed by the property. The resort is situated in a 250 acre plot. There's a 1.5km jeep ride to the reception. Even though it's old, it's very well maintained. Clean rooms, hygienic and new bathrooms. The food was full board and all three meals didn't disappoint us. Very flavor filled food. The afternoon meals were great. The food was top notch. The property also offers a gaming room for kids. There's outdoor activities as well but we could only enjoy the jeep safari due to unstable weather. Network availability is also good. Great staff and great service. Overall, highly recommended.
We had a very bad experience from here. Myself and my friend travelled all the way from Ernakulam to visit this resort and we were not allowed to enter to the location from the gate. They supposed to pick us from the gate and they didn't as there vehicle wasn't available. We said we would go ourselves and spoke to the manager, but we didn't get any proper response or action from their side. This is too bad for a resort for treating their guests like this way. We had to travel back to Ernakulam without visiting the resort. My advice is to learn how to treat your guests or visitors with minimum courtesy especially when you are giving services in the hospitality field..!
Good for one day trip, everything available in the resort itself..boating, adventure activities ,trecking etc..homely tasty food..
The location is the setting point of this place. Rooms are only to place your luggage, spend time exploring the exquisite views. Wonderful staff, quick and polite.
