After purchasing an ornament, shop owner's behaviour changes. Even if you go to repair a newly bought ornament, they don't show any interest rather show irritation. When you buy something they(the owner) talk to you with sugary words but their true colour comes out when you find defect in ornament and go to them.

Very bad behaviour of the owner. He doesn't know how to talk to customers. He was so rude , ill behaved and arrogant. Our fault was we wanted to change the design which we had finalized first. This was my first visit to this shop.. Would never recommend to anybody unless the owner changes.

Collection is good, however, the behavior of the staff as well as the owner needs to be customer friendly.

Horrible behaviour of the shop owner. Jewellery collection good, staff behaviour also very good but because of the owner's rude and arrogant behaviour I wouldn't recommend this shop.

So, my family's been going here for decades now. We used to buy almost every jewellery from this store, big or small until this happened . A few months ago, I had bought an extremely expensive gemstone from the most reputed jewellery store in Kolkata and bestowed the responsibility of forging a ring with it to Uttam jewellers. I had absolute faith on them as we go way back. Then comes the day of collection when we get a ring alright, but the gem is changed with a different one. The different shape and the slight fade in the hue prominent to the learned eye. I brought it to the owner's notice and thought there must be some kind of misunderstanding but to my utter shock, the owner urged that the stone is indeed ours. Despite repeated pleading and paying him several visits on the same, he didn't come to our ailment . The last time when we visited his store on the subject, we saw a stone strikingly similar with ours shining on the owner's finger in a freshly made ring. If you have read this far, it will be my earnest request to you to go to a jewellery store you can completely trust. Do not make the same mistake I have made. These people are thieves waiting to lure you in with sugary words.

Good place for gold jewellery.Making charge is also moderate.Owner(Uttam) is a welbehaved person. Old gold jewellery also purchased/exchanged here. Hospitality is also very good.
