Uttam Guest House - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

If you are reading this review I would suggest you to never stay in this hotel. An incident of theft occurred in my room and the management seems to care very less about it. The hotel staff is also suspicious, at night someone opened the room window from outside and try to come into the room, when I shouted and called the hotel staff they didn't cared about it. Your belongings are at your own risk if you are staying in this hotel

A lovely hotel for family with maximum facilities like Wi-Fi, Hot water, complimentary breakfast, TV, AC etc. Hotel is neat and clean. Staff behavior is also very good. Location is very close to Railway Station and palten bazaar which is heart of city. Overall good stay here. We enjoyed a lot in this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 days. The hotel was upto our expectations with swift room service and friendly staff. They also have a good laundry service. They have a centralised heater and sometimes hot water was not available in the bathroom and we had to get hot water in buckets from the reception. Overall it was a good stay.

I had been there in mid of October last year for an official celebration. And it was a pleasant stay with my team. I just love the big window in our room. Hotel staff are very decent & their response for every minor query is outstanding. I met the proprietor as well while roaming in corridor. Thanks for such an awesome hospitality.

The room and toilets are spacious and were really clean. Even the amenities provided in the hotel were good. Just wished the complimentary breakfast could have been much better. Rest all fine for the price.

Not really the best place you can find in all of Guwahati to stay but we were booked here by our travel agency so we didn't have much of a choice. It is still a decently clean place with good rooms and decent facilities like hot water and complementary breakfast. Although the breakfast is extremely limited and the entire building is old. All in all no complaints as such but you can find better places in the city if you can afford it. If you can't then there is no harm in staying here. Pretty comfortable stay.

One of the best staff I have experienced till date. I booked a room @700 via MMT and it was worth it. Normally rooms are around 800 for one person and and for a double bed room it is around 1200. The rooms were very clean I was provided newspaper in the morning and the breakfast was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience in this hotel despite the fact it is little far from the main road and Paltan Bazar but one can easily find it in the Map. Ola and Uber taxis directly going just near the hotel.

Stuffs are very friendly , supportive,well behaved. Especially I want to mention about Brajen... what a amazing guy...his helping hand is always ready at your door step.. but the renovation of bathroom is required... rooms are good..
