Just beside Perbirhata Bus Stand, Bardhaman and just next to Bardhaman Bidyarthi Bhaban Girls High School you will find UTSAV MAIDAN.... popularly known as Shankharipukur Baka Ground...a big field famous for hosting all kinds of fairs / utsavs. Previously it was a playground but thanks to Burdwan Municipality that ground now turned to a permanent fair ground. But more developments needed to make the place really special.

It's a well managed place wherein all types of social get-together happens organised both by govt as well as private entitles like West Bengal handicrafts show, circus etc

Very good place. Many festivals and fairs happen here. But in the interval of fairs the place becomes dirty. No one clean the ground.
