I have been attending yoga classes at Universal Yoga Center from past 10 years,and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and positivity. The instructors were knowledgeable, skilled, and passionate about yoga, creating an environment that was conducive to learning and growth. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with props such as mats, blocks, and straps. The ambiance was peaceful and serene, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my practice and focus on my breath and movement. I highly recommend Universal Yoga Center to anyone looking to deepen their practice, expand their knowledge of yoga, and foster a sense of well-being in a supportive and uplifting environment. Food they provide in there TTC programs are amazing. Special thanks to Vijay Amar Sir, His classes are well-structured and offered a variety of styles, from gentle restorative yoga to more challenging Vinyasa flows, he provided clear instructions, modifications for different levels of ability, and encouraged us to listen to our bodies and practice mindfully. I enjoy every single moment of this ttc I recommend anyone who comes to India to come with a open heart and learn from these yoga teacher that have a lot of experience learn whatever you can I have learned so much and feel so much more confident with my yoga practice. Teachers are really excellent, dedicated and open I have really enjoyed my time here is really beautiful and peaceful, the perfect place, surrounded by natural sounds nature extremely beautiful and the accommodations were extremely great and comfy everything was so close and easy anything you need they will do there best to provide it for you. Vijay is a very experienced yoga teacher and a very caring person. You will enjoy the traditional (old school :)) yoga classes taught by Vijay who embodies a professional yoga instructor and a youthful soul.

This was the most magnificent experience everyone and the living conditions were just excellent..if you would like to learn Ashtanga Yoga this is the right place to go! i highly recommend it, you won't regret it..

I did a 200h TTC in Universal Yoga Dharamkot in June 2019. On the plus side : I really enjoyed all the classes, from asanas classes to philosophy and anatomy, all teachers being very nice and knowledgeable. On the minus side : my personal feeling is that i'm very disappointed with the overall organisation and TTC program. Even keeping in mind the cultural difference between Europe and India and even trying to have a flexible mind, the lack of schedule and the last minute notice for what was happening when and were was annoying (and this feeling was shared by all students). The asanas classes were drop-in classes, and there was no sense of follow-up from the team on our progresses or feelings. The methodology classes, which were excellent, were rushed over the 2nd and 3rd week, while we didn't have any on the 4th week (very light schedule on the 4th week). Doing a TTC, I was expecting an environment that encourages focus on a dedicated practice and peaceful vibes : I personally didnt find it here (many very surprising events for a place dedicated to Yoga). I only hope the team understand the frustration that this creates (they never asked me a feedback) and can improve for the future students. If you are only looking for a good asana practice this might suit your needs though, then just be mindful that in contrary to what I was told prior to come, withdrawing money without fee is NOT possible close to the center, and being asked to pay within the 2 first days of the training makes it difficult to organise to go to town to withdraw. If I had known I would have withdraw money in Rishikesh and saved about 80EUR of extra fees :-)

I did with Vijay 500hr ttc (two courses- 200hr and 300hr). I feel that I had a privilege to learn with such a great and experienced teacher like Vijay. Beyond that he is a rare yogi, he has a lot of knowledge that he feels this is his mission to convey and he does it with humility and open heart. The course with him was a life-changing experience for me and I feel grateful for it.
