We had an excellent family tour with Unexplored Bastar recently. Thanks to Mr Jeet, Ms Priyanka, Ms Apeksha and special mention of Mr Anirudra our tour guide, and Mr Rakesh, our driver. Though the name is 'unexplored bastar', they arrange tours throughout the State of Chhattisgarh. We stayed at Bhoramdeo, Sirpur, Hareli, Kondagaon, Chitrakote and Jagdalpur. The stay was good and the food was tasty. We visited Bhoramdeo temple, Chilpi valley road. To our surprise they even arranged gazal program while we literally had our lunch in a serene river. Ruins of the temples, buddha vihar dating 1200 years and remnants of nearly 2000 years old Mahanadi Sanskruti in the form of well planned market area (reminded us of Dholavira) at Sirpur left us awestruck when the local guide Mr Ojha navigated us through it. Unfortunately due to the elections at the highly sensitive area, barnawapara jeep ride was cancelled. Then it was our turn to experience the 'real bastar' in its natural form. Visit to Chitrakote waterfalls was a high point and an unforgettable experience, which I recommend everyone should have it at least once with the boat ride taking us through the multiple rainbows formed in the mist due to sunlight. Dholkal trek was an awesome 7-8 km track which was in my wishlist for long. Visiting a beautiful ganesha idol in the end of the grueling trek make us feel about our nothingness against the nature. It was followed by a typical tribal bastar lunch with famous Chapda Chutney (red ant chutney). We also had a chance to visit Danteshwari temple, Tirathgarh waterfall, kangerghati with kotumsar caves, local weekly market at Nangur. Anirudra Sarkar was always helpful, considerate and informative. Overall I feel that if its a Chhattisgarh tour be it a solo/ adventure/ family/ culture-heritage / nature Unexplored Bastar is an Answer. We also learned that Unexplored bastar is also working with the state Govt for community upliftment and has developed a Model for the same which is one of its kinds. We wish the team best luck for their work at the grassroot level.

I recently attended the Dussehra special tour of Unexplored Bastar. It was an amazing experience with the team of UB. Right from pick up and drops till stays and transportation everything was well managed. Special thanks to the leader Akash and Co-lead Lakshya for showing the best of Bastar to us. Thanks Jeet (founder of UB) for taking out time and meeting us and also ensuring that we are having good time. You guys are doing commendable job. The hotel at Jagdalpur was superb. Highlight of the trip was camp at Chitrakote Falls. We got to enjoy superb view of falls from the campsite. Both the campsites- Dholkal and chitrakote were clean. Even Dholkal Ganesh Trek was amazing. Akash and his team made sure that everyone is safe while climbing on those rocky patches near summit. Caving experience at Mandarkonta caves was also thrilling. Above all, we got to witness the Dussehra rituals minus the crowd. Mr Akash gave lot of insights and information about culture and history of Bastar and of the places that we visited during the trip. Overall an amazing experience. Kudos to UB team!!

Exploring Unexplored Bastar was an enchanting journey that gifted us with unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We were drenched in the sheer beauty of nature as we stood beneath cascading waterfalls, feeling the refreshing, invigorating 'nature shower.' The caves, cloaked in profound darkness, seemed to touch our very souls, creating a sense of mystique and wonder. The Tirtha locals, with their innate humility and innocence, welcomed us warmly, leaving an indelible impression of their kindness on our hearts. Mornings were a treat with cups of piping hot Chai by the mesmerizing Chitrakoot Waterfalls, a moment of tranquil bliss. Our journey was elevated by the guidance of Mr. AniRudra, a true connoisseur of the region's hidden treasures. His wealth of knowledge and insights transformed our trip into an unforgettable memory. Kudos to Unexplored Bastar for curating such a remarkable experience. Riding through this uncharted paradise and camping with them was an adventure worth cherishing. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to all and can't wait to return and relive it all over again.

I booked the monsoon getaway tour with Unexplored Bastar and it was a mind blowing experience. Mr Jeet organized the tour and our guide was Mr Aakash. Mr Aakash has an exceptional knowledge of the local culture and the various hiking trails. It was a wonderful experience. The best part was that it was eco tourism - no use of plastic bottles etc. Even the food was served in plates made of leaves and in some cases the spoons were itself made of leaves. It was my first time in Chhattisgarh and it was an amazing experience. I hope to visit the place again for some longer treks and I'll definitely consult Unexplored Bastar.

It was indeed a joyful experience with Unexplored Bastar. Anirudra is a well versed explorer around that area. We had a nice company with lots of information which will be useful for me in my further research. He is a very smart and enthu person. It was a great day when we met Jeet Arya, founder of the Co. From him came to know about the aim of the Co. and he has leadership quality which is a big asset. Our Best wishes to Unexplored Bastar and the team. Shilpa Abhiram

We did a 4 day trip with Unexplored Bastar in September 2023. It was an adventurous trip and we learnt a lot about Chattisgarh from Anirudra. The trip was organised well and we felt safe throughout. The places were offbeat and beautiful and we are glad to have done this trip with Team UB.

This holiday with UB was one of our best. We had 0 worries and 100% satisfaction. Anirudra was more than a tour leader. His knowledge of the place was good. Through his stories he made the history and tour much more enjoyable. The itinerary was well executed. We enjoyed the simple and healthy food in the camps. The camps itself were in beautiful settings. Full marks to Anirudra, UB team and the SHG.
