Turyaa Chennai - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

I'd suggest you stay at Holiday Inn nearby. Avoid Turyaa at all costs. Very bad. Booked a twin room for one night stay. Requested a change to a king room since plans changed and didn't require multiple beds. Was upgraded to a King room on arrival. After we headed to the room, I noticed the toilet had not been cleaned or flushed (disgusting). When I complained about this, they quickly changed us to a different twin room without even a single apology. But this 2nd room smelled very damp and musty (ac might have mold for sure). Breathing was getting difficult due to it being so damp smelling. The moment we left this room to go outside we felt so much better and could breathe properly! Had to go down and complain about it but the night time receptionist was a bit rude and didn't take our request to change room again. He lied telling all rooms were full. Instead he sent maintenance to our room. The maintenance guy came, checked the ac and said he wanted to check the roof vents and left. We were still stuck in the damp smelling room. Nobody called or anything. We just grabbed our stuff and went to the front desk ourselves and complained again to the same receptionist insisting we'd rather check out than stay in that suffocating room. Only then did they budge and finally showed us a better room (lots of rooms were available, he was just lying). No apologies were given for this either. Never staying here nor recommending to anyone else!

I stayed in the room for 4 days and could never understand what's wrong with their HVAC. The rooms feel damp and the lobby smells like Lysol all the time. There's no way a hotel that size and charging fair amount of money is humid and has mosquitoes. For the same price, Accord Chrome was so much better. I will personally never stay here nor recommend someone. My partner fell sick and it could well be the terrible indoor air quality. Not recommended.

I was looking for a good hotel near the beach. While googling I found out all hotels facing the beach are priced ones then moving a little distance towards the city we have this turya chennai. It's a 5 star hotel so no doubt services are at its best. The rooms were clean and decent. The staff was very polite and professional. located in the main road so access to the city is nice. The only sad part about the hotel is checkout is 2pm which is very late compared to the other hotels when they provide checkin at 12pm itself.

Today we had our team offsite event in Turya. I would strongly recommend this place if you wanted to do a team offsite event with in the city. We were approx 40 of us. They provided a very good conference room which was more than sufficient to run a event. Amazing food! We choose the menu and it was prepared very well. Everyone liked it. Both veg and non veg were too good. It was well coordinated by the sales team manager Aji Ravindran and rest of the staffs who supported us during the event were amazing aswell.

Booked the room via online travel site. Arrived was asked to be seated. Even though no other guests were in the reception, 10 mins later we were attended to. Another 15 mins of check-in formalities like ID proof , pictures taken like immigration biometric! Card key was handed over and was not even shown the room. Had to ask which way is the elevator !! Food was delicious. Instead of a double bed , was given 2 single beds arranged together. Clean room / toilet / shower .. Checking out process took 15 mins !! I would try other hotels next time , just because of the service provided. Staff was otherwise very polite. Just need to be more faster in attending guests and atleast show the way after handing over the key card. I m sure this review also would get acknowledged by COO with the same copy paste content. This can also make guests booking decision as the management doesn't really care attitude. Atleast a single line typed as per reviews might be nice.

I can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay there. I visited the restaurant. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. It was a dimly lit fine-dine restaurant. I took the buffet. It was expensive. The variety was great. The taste was satisfying.

Despite the hotel charging a substantial amount for its services, the staff's behavior is unfriendly, and they failed to accommodate an early check-in despite multiple requests. Waiting for over 5.5 hours after landing at 8 am in Chennai was inconvenient, especially for those with office commitments. I've decided not to stay at this hotel for future office visits and plan to advise my colleagues against it as well.

Came as part of a friend's engagement. The food is not so great. The briyani was good but the menu is comparatively below par for a hotel this size. No place to sit and eat other than the meeting hall. But a good hall size for 150 to 200 people. The balcony is damn good but with the metro work it's quite dusty Mess up by the valet team and became a chaos soon and took a while to get things sorted.
