We recently visited India and had the good fortune of working with Tamding at Tsozum Tours. He arranged all our transportation, suggested wonderful sites to see and was incredibly helpful. He also took care of finding a back route out of Sikkim after the flooding. He personally went with us on a ten hour drive to ensure we were able to make our flight. We cannot thank him enough and would recommend him highly!!!

The 8 days tour to Sikkim and Darjeeling was awesome. Tamding is an excellent and caring guide. He brought medicine for me when he knew I had a bad throat and even gave me a scarf to cover my neck when I was not feeling well upon arrival. When we were in Darjeeling, he arranged with the hotel staff to give me an early birthday surprise when he knew my birthday was just round the corner. My room was decorated with balloons and flowers and there was a nice birthday cake for me as well. It certainly made my stay in Darjeeling memorable and comfortable. I highly recommend Tsozum Tours to anyone who wish to visit Sikkim and Darjeeling. Tamding goes Above and Beyond to provide the best services for his guests and make sure they are well taken care of during the tour.

We had the best tour experience with Tsozum tours this winter. ( Dec 2016). They built the complete itinerary for us. Their team was highly experienced, went out of their way to make our trip memorable. The vehicles arranged were very well maintained, fabulous drivers . The accommodation was great ! Special thanks to tamding, the proprietor. He went beyond the call of duty to ensure we even got to the airport on time. He is a good friend now!!

I booked with Mr. Tamding after reading good reviews here ,but real situation bit different. He will never turn up and mostly not reachable in his mobile. The tour is arranged by somebody else outsourced called Feroz who also did not have full itinerary information. Too much miscommunication. After sending repeatedly mails, never confirmed complete itinerary , inclusions and not inclusions. I paid complete amount before reacgrea Gangtok and I expected a smooth ride. But I had to call Multiple people just for my pick up from NJP. After reaching Gangtok a worst driver was given to me to take Tsogmi and Baba mandiM. But the driver refused to go to Baba Mandir even though he was paid. Next day before starting for north Sikkim Feroz and his brother refused to start the trip as he was not communicated with complete itinerary and payment. There after trying hard got connected with Mr. Tamding and I was told I have to pay exrex 3000 RS for Gurudongmar which he never communicated to me while I had sent so many mails and he confirmed that your is booked. However I agreed to pay as I had to do the trip in that situation. After reaching Lachung we were given a worst hotel in a remote and non safe location where not a single other people staying, knowing that me and my wife traveling. The hotel owner said he was not communicated with the booking and cannot make arrangements. Then the driver helped us and he arranged another hotel which was quite safe. Tried to reach Mr. Tamding but as usual his phone was not reachable or switched off. In my North Sikkim package all meals were included, but I had to pay first day lunch as driver Feroz told me to pay and next day breakfast as driver told he was not given enough money to pay for that. I paid the amount whatever Mr. Tamding asked and never bargained and talking to him over phone gave me impression on his professionalism and I had trust. But these were not expected. However I completed my trip. After reaching Gangtok from north Sikkim I tried to reach him, but... Really not expected and will not suggest any my closed one to book travel with Tsouzm. We had a wonderful trip at Sikkim from 29 April to 5 May 208. I would give the compliment to Tsozum Tours. Tsozum tour served us an extraordinarily experiences since the first step at airport . The holly greetings craft is very meaningful to me and friends. We enjoy the rides at Sikkim. Tsozum Tour provided us a professional and safe transportation along the ways in Sikkim in a very exciting road conditions. Moreover, I myself appreciate the readiness from Tsozum. I had an unexpected breath problem on the high mountain. Tsozum gave me a professional and equiped cure. It made me enjoy the trip. We had a wonderful trip to Sikkim and Darjeeling with Tamding Buthia as our guide and David as the reliable, safe and friendly driver. We really enjoyed seeing the beautiful landscapes and monastries of Sikkim this way. Mr. Buthia turned out to be a very helpful person who told us a lot about the religious places and backgrounds. Also in Darjeeling we had the opportunity to see many places, make a trip on the Toy Train and take time to relax. The hotels were full of atmosphere and we always had a great view of the Kanchenjunga.

Me and my group of friends decided to explore the wonders of Sikkim about 3 years ago and due to the complexity to enter certain places such as the DMZ zone and the various permits it required, we decided to engage a local tour. Thankfully we met Mr Tamding Bhutia through his website. He clearly understands our needs and tries to arrange all permits before hand despite all the red tapes involved so that we would not waste much time on procedures. He would only hire the drivers that drives properly and asks the hoteliers to prepare a better meal up front even we didn't specifically asked him to. Some other small touches include our short trip to Lachung where we visited one of the local houses and asked for Chang a local beer of sorts. Something that we would not have expected. Overall I would highly recommend Mr Tamding to anyone who is keen to see the rarely seem side of Sikkim as this is his homeland after all. I'll be engaging him on another tour next year.
