If you're into arts, history, spirituality and architecture thn Triveni Museum is the best place to experience our ruch cultural and architectural heritage and design. The museum hosts various statues ranging from prehistoric era, beautifully crafted and in a well preserved condition. The art gallery exhibits some of the very fine and detailed paintings. Museum also has a small souvenir shop where the visitors can buy books or metal statues. It take almost couple of hours when you are a keen observer and ardent art lover. Overall, an interesting place which one can definitely can't miss during Mahakaleshwar visit. The only thing which can be added up are: more sitting areas specially for elderly persons within the premises, provision for drinking water on upper floor, non working AC's are a bit trouble specially on the first floor.
The Best place in Ujjain. One of the best museums in India. Sculptures as old as 2000 yrs are there. The upper modern section is also very cool. Must visit. Located inside Mahakal lok corridor. Don't hesitate to pay 100 Rs for camera. You won't regret.
This Museum Showcases very important Ancient Sculptures, Basic Concepts of Sanatan Dharma and things related to it. Anyone who is either interested in Sanatan Dharma or History should visit this at least once. You get to know the 3 main different paths of Sanatan Dharma. Popularly known as Vaishnav, Shaiv and Shakt. In which the followers worship Vishnu, Shiva and Shakti respectively. There are also different wooden and Metal figurines on the display showing the Art and Culture of India as a whole with the main focus on regional arts. Also, there are various paintings, hand embroidered paintings depicting various Gods and Goddesses. Large Statues depicting important aspects of Gods and Goddesses can be found on the First floor too. There is also a room showing the Yantras used in the Tantric Practice of Sadhana. (Tantric Practice meaning the Upasana Techniques laid down in the shastras. do not confuse it with black magic and stuff) It will take around 1 to 2 hours for a casual person but can take even more for the Curious one. so visit and get to know the depths of Sanatan Dharma in person.

I visited here with family. Nice ambiance. Beautiful sculptures from ancient times. It is good for our future generation these types of places. The concept is just like Shri Krishna museum kurukshetra. And the Shri Hanuman chalisa elaboration with pictures is on another level. The statues are also very mind blowing. Don't forget to visit,if going to mahakaleshwar.
