I stayed there several time. It is my second home. Kalimpong. I love to go Kalimpong and stay at Triveni Lodge. It's photograph collection surprised me a lot. First time I met nanaji and heard about gouripur house and it's glorious past in presence of Rabindranath Tagore. A pic. of that moment also I found from nanaji's collection, in the wall of Triveni Lodge.
Cosy place at the heart of the town. Could also view A fragment of the mountain range. Shopping and sightseeing will be easier as the market and taxi stand is nearby. Kalimpong motor stand is not far off. Explore Annapurna Restaurant on Gurung road for nice food and ambience.
Triveni lodge is a nice place for picnic. The view of river Rangit meeting river Teesta is a awesome treat for nature lover The confluence takes place at a relatively flat terrain & surrounded by mountain in all side. The colour of river Rangit is green & colour of Teesta is different. At present Triveni lodge is converted to Covid Hospital(govt).
Never stayed in this lodge but the restaurant on the ground floor is really awesome. Good and fast service ,delicious food at cheap and reasonable rates.
