One of the oldest bar association in the state. They have a good hall where meeting and lectures on legal field were conducted on a regular basis. The association also boasts of a well maintained library with modern amenities. Free wifi is provided for its members. A multi gym is also functioning on the first floor. The Bar association also has got a good canteen, which provides breakfast and lunch and also tea and snacks. Chicken biriyani prepared on Tuesdays and Thursdays are a major hit among the advocate fraternity as well as the court staff and judicial officers.

Trivandrum Bar Association is a professional Not-For-Profit lawyers association in Thiruvananthapuram, the Capital city of Kerala. The Trivandrum Bar Association is dedicated to serving our members, improving the legal profession and promoting the rule of law. Established in the year 1811, when one of the four Zilla Courts was founded here by the then Col Monroe during the Travancore Royal family regime, our Bar still holds its head high among others. In the year 2011, we have celebrated our bicentenary, participated by high profile people. We have bicentenary mammoth brass bell and bicentenary open air auditorium in the District court precincts, marking the celebrations. The first president, as far as we could trace, was Adv. Sri. GopalaPillai, who was a matchless personality, a brilliant lawyer and a magnificent wordsmith in English language. We are marching ahead, leading fearless and uncompromising. Our motto is quality Bar, quality Bench and quality justice. Bar, strong and powerful adds muscle to democracy. Minus Bar democracy is all about sword sans sharpness.
