Tipi Tribe - Campground in Suryanelli - Idukki, India

We had a great time @tipitribe. Best hospitality. And about their food, Banana smoothie and barbeque are the signature dishes. They take us to the best and less crowded sunrise view point,it was adventurous.

We had a great stay with friends. Camp location is just wow with great view. Washrooms are neat. We had a guided trek and visit to kolukkumalai tea estate. People are kind and helpful. Cons: food was not upto the mark and water was leaking around the tent when it rained

Great staff and beautiful, although remote, location. We were not lucky with the weather but we had a lot of fun with the guides that were always super helpful and made our stay worth it. They picked us up in the base camp with a jeep. Dinner was good and campfire experience even better! Don't expect a five star hotel, it's a camping in the middle of a tea plantation with amazing views.

Actually it was a unplanned trip but turned into a best trip . The camp and the people who work there are really so friendly which makes the trip more fun. Youngsters would love the place a lot . Evening there is a sunrise visit then we travel in jeep to the camp which is located at the top of the hill which is a plus point. We have tea and biscuits offered then the dinner was so tasty and hot which compliment the weather. Quality of food is good both for veg and non veg . Morng we track like 2 km to the sunrise view point and it was the best sunrise that I have ever seen . Overall it was a beautiful trip thanks to the team , both family and friends can enjoy well and it is a safest place you can go .

The location of the camp is beautiful and the view after the sunrise hike was like a dream. There were only a few people staying in the camp and the boys working there made us feel like home. Best camping experience you can imagine. Food was plenty and great. Toilet facilities very clean.

Location and surrounding places are really beautiful. You can chill out with beautiful view of the lovely nature. The food is not that delicious. They have Barbecue in the menu, but does not provide actual barbecue. It would b great if they organise barbecue cooking facilities for visitors. Overall if you are with large no of friends, then you can make it memorable

*Black Eagle's Camp- Wayanad* Had a good time. Campfire and bbq was nice. Tent stay was way more comfortable than expected. Restrooms could have been better. Would suggest improving restroom cleanliness. Missed the sunrise- thanks to cloudy day. But really enjoyed the nature walk and stream bath. Very yummy food, and staff there were super friendly. Would definitely recommend

Visited here as part of team outing. The place was overcrowded, they have accommodated more than their capacity. Toilet was washing facilities were poor. No proper lights to tent areas. Food was delayed and was not worth for price. Staffs were nice. Camp fire was poor as wood was kept exposed to dew. Base camp office is not kept clean.
