This was my first visit and found very peaceful. In Assamese language, Tilinga means Bell. You can see lacs of bells all around that's why they call it as Tilinga Mandir. People believes that Lord Shiva listen to their wishes and each bells represent the fulfilled wish. The temple you are referring to is Tilinga Mandir, located in Bordubi, Tinsukia district, in the state of Assam, India. It is a small Hindu temple known for its large collection of bells. Many people visit this temple from all over Assam and other parts of India to seek blessings and fulfil their wishes. The temple is situated amidst a tea garden, and it takes approximately 2.5 hours to drive from the nearest city, Dibrugarh, to reach this peaceful place. When you arrive, you will be amazed to see tons of bells hanging on the border walls of the temple. Visitors tie bells once their wishes are fulfilled, which creates a beautiful and melodious sight. The main deity worshipped in this temple is the tree. However, in recent times, some idols have been placed here as well. The serene atmosphere and the good vibes of the place make it an excellent destination for those seeking peace and spiritual solace. If you plan to buy something from the vendors for your offering in the temple, it is advisable to double-check the prices and prefer prepaid payment to avoid any confusion or discrepancies. While Tilinga Mandir is a popular and revered place, it is also in need of improvement. It is suggested that the concerned government department takes suitable measures to renovate and conserve such famous and glorious places to maintain their cultural and historical significance. Overall, Tilinga Mandir is a unique and fascinating temple in Assam, known for its abundance of bells and the faith and belief of its visitors. It is definitely worth a visit, especially if you are in Upper Assam. Awesome peaceful place... Lots of bells... Good vibe... But before you buy something from the vendors for your offering in the temple, always double check the price and prefer prepaid payment. The place also needs improvement. The concerned department of the government should take suitable measures to renovate and conserve such famous and glorious place s.

From the hotel to Mandir the journey was peaceful and while crossing the Tea estates I felt peace of mind and I was so relaxed that I forgot everything which I have experienced in the train and in the hotel. Once we reached Tilinga Mandir My heart was filled with joy and I was feeling blessed that we have made it. Because only we know what happened to us in this whole journey.
