The Yoga Institute, Goa - Yoga Teacher Training - Yoga Retreat Center in Chorao - North Goa, India

I had an excellent experience doing my 200 hour yoga teacher's training. The atmosphere and food are excellent and the teachers are inspiring, committed and genuinely lovely people. Soaking in the lush greenery was rejuvenating not only to the body and mind, but also to the spirit. Clean rooms with good air-conditioning and regularly well maintained. The manager has a lovely personality and is very helpful, as are all the other staff. Highly recommended, especially as prices are reasonable.

My experience was great. Its beautiful place and you feel like well connected with nature, surrounded by lush greenery. I chose the yoga institute Goa after personally visiting many other institutions in goa. I have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone. You will be well looked after and will learn more than what you expect from the course. Course transformed me and I am sure anyone who go there will experience some sort of transformation. .

The Yoga Institute in Charao, Goa is uniquely situated on a beautiful Hillock and far from the touristy spots. I did my 200 hr RYT here in FEB 2023 and have no regrets. They are very reasonably priced compared to other places in Goa and India with accommodation and all meals are included in the cost. The staff are amazing and most of the instructors are very knowledgeable. The course offered has a holistic approach to Yoga and would definitely recommend it.

I have been staying as a guest in the Goa Yoga Institite for a month. It is a peacefull, energetic place with kind hearted personal and management. Here you can enjoy peace within specious well organized environment infused with yogic style of life. If you wish to get Yoga further into your life, there is an opportunity to participate in 1 month ttc course. I personally finished 3 month ttc in the mother center (the Yoga Institute in Mumbai) and while I was staying in Goa I could see the same quality and dedication in sharing the knowledge of Yoga. This is a truly magical place. I stayed here for one week and was really impressed. Great atmosphere, this all by the personnel of the Yoga Institute, the nature, the accommodation, the food and quality of the yoga classes.

Definitely the highlight of my trip! I was there for a five day yoga retreat not to be confused with the teacher training class (which is also one of the best classes offered here). I felt more energetic, calmer & lighter than I have been in a while. LOCATION : This fabulous retreat is nestled on top of a mountain surrounded by luscious greenery and a beautiful river. It is Absolutely stunning and magical with exotic birds flying around everywhere. It is also Extremely peaceful and a great way to disconnect and have some me time (we all need a bit of that more than we realize). TEACHERS: Extremely knowledgeable, very approachable and friendly but professional. Classes were at 7am, 11am and 6pm leaving ample time to read a book, enjoy a nap or lay by the pool. FOOD : There is breakfast, lunch, Tea time and dinner offered which is included in the price. The vegan food was so delicious, healthy and fresh. All food is offered buffet style so you can eat to your hearts content. We were also given fresh juices in between meals and fresh fruits for breakfast. ACCOMMODATION : I loved my villa. There was a little sit out area that I used everyday. The rooms have air conditioning & a tea kettle. Rooms are simple but have the essentials. What more can one ask for when at a retreat? Overall I loved the serenity of the place, the yoga classes, the delectable food, friends made there and the wonderful people behind it all. It has been an unforgettable experience. Que dire? C'est parfait pour effectuer le TTC de 200h. L'endroit est superbe au milieu d'une reserve d'oiseaux. Les bungalow sont dissimules dans un parc arbore d'anacadiers. La piscine est au top. Les chambres tres bien entretenue, je rajouterai que seul manque des moustiquaires. Le personnel est prevenant et efficace en particulier la toute jeune receptionniste. Le parc est difficile a entretenir les feuilles des anacadiers tombent sans cesse ainsi que les fruits et a longueur de temps et de journee le personnel les ramassent. Les repas sont delicieux. Durant la formation nous beneficions du petit dejeuner du repas de midi du gouter et du repas du soir. C'est de la nourriture sattvik qui est servie. Quand aux cours delivres par les enseignants et enseignantes c'est juste parfait. Il est sur que je reviendrai dans ce lieu calme rempli de serenite. Avec mes meilleurs messages

I am a Yoga enthusiast. Have heard a lot of this place. Recently when went to Chorao, passed by this institute. It looked lovely. Will definitely visit & enroll one day.
