I recently had the pleasure of staying at THE VINTAGE GULMARG this November, and I must say it was a truly outstanding experience. The rooms at this vintage establishment are nothing short of beautiful. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. It's evident that the management takes pride in maintaining a high standard, ensuring that guests are treated to a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. The service, both in terms of food and housekeeping, was excellent. The culinary offerings were not only delicious but also presented with an artistic flair. The variety and quality of the menu reflected a commitment to providing a memorable dining experience. The housekeeping staff ensured that every corner of the room was immaculate, contributing to a sense of relaxation and well-being throughout my stay. One noteworthy aspect of THE VINTAGE GULMARG is their dedication to maintaining a 4-star status, and it clearly shows. From the moment of arrival to departure, the level of professionalism and service met the expectations one would associate with a top-tier establishment. The location of the hotel is a definite highlight. Being a mere 5 minutes away from the cable car was a game-changer, especially after a tiring day exploring the breathtaking scenery. The convenience of not having to endure long drives post-cable car adventures added immense value to my overall stay. In conclusion, my experience at THE VINTAGE GULMARG surpassed expectations, and I wholeheartedly rate it at 5 out of 5. It's a place where the charm of vintage meets modern comforts, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful and convenient retreat in Gulmarg.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at The Vintage Gulamarg, and I must say that my experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the management lacked basic etiquete and politeness, setting the tone for a disappointing stay. First and foremost, the lack of extra curricular services was striking. The hotel boasts about its recreational offerings, but all I found was a chess or carrom board tucked away in the room. Hardly the variety one would expect from a supposedly upscale establishment. Moreover, the cheap management was impossible to ignore. It became apparent that cost-cutting measures trumped even the most basic amenities. For instance, despite using a dental kit, they refused to refill it for the following week. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for guest comfort is simply unacceptable. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the rooms was appalling. There was no pre-cleanup of the rooms for guests, leaving us to repeatedly call the staff to get our rooms cleaned. The absence of clean blankets and towels only added to the overall feeling of neglect. The disappointment continued when it came to the buffet. With only two or three dishes on offer, it was clear that the hotel did not prioritize providing a diverse and satisfying culinary experience. The non-vegetarian options were limited to just a single dish, often consisting of eggs. This lack of variety was extremely disappointing, given the hotel's claims of offering a luxurious dining experience. Lastly, the hotel's treatment of guests was nothing short of disgraceful. Instead of taking responsibility for their shortcomings, the management had the audacity to blame the guests for any mishaps or missing items. It was particularly infuriating that they restricted guests to a measly two bottles of water, and then pressured them into purchasing expensive packaged water. Such tactics are not only deceptive but also highlight the hotel's obvious attempt to extract more money from its guests. In conclusion, Hotel Vintage epitomizes a cheap hotel masquerading as a luxury establishment. From the lack of basic etiquette and politeness in management to the absence of extra curricular services, the hotel failed to live up to its promise of a pleasant stay. The cheap management, refusal to refill essential items, and overall lack of cleanliness only further reinforced the notion that this hotel is not worth its expensive price tag. Save yourself the disappointment and seek accommodations elsewhere.

Excellent rooms very clean and hygienic rooms with all the required amenities. Also rooms were very warm while as outside temperature was very cold. Rest all was good ... must stay

This is one of the finest properties we found in the vicinity. It is very centrally located, close to Shiv Mandir & Gondola ride is also not too far. There is a market close by to get your key stuff if at all you forgot to carry. Their rooms are very neat & clean, the linen etc is very hygienic. The food is extremely good & their spread has good variety. Staff is very supportive & friendly. I would recommend this place highly to visitors travelling to Gulmarg. Specially vegetarian & Jain food lovers.

An extremely well kempt and beautiful hotel. There is centralized heating so even during the coldest nights it was warm. The view from the rooms isn't that great but from the hotel terrace and entrance it is breathtaking. the welcome drink, Kehwa that they provide was one of the best that we've had in Kashmir. The service was apt and the rooms were extremely clean.

Excellent location. Great food & very well maintained property. Highly recommended for veg & jain foodies. The food has a good spread & options. Rooms were clean & well heated.

The property is one of the best. However Service is not at par with how the property is. We initially struggled to get the Tv started and it took them almost 3 hours to set up the dish Tv. The view from the room is where it is a total let down and you feel it is overly priced. The service at breakfast buffet is very slow and you feel they are understaffed. All in all the cost will pinch you with the service and view that you get.

It has everything we value in a hotel. Cleanliness was great. The sheets and towels were spotlessly white. You sank into the bed and pillows. Staff were very courteous, pleasant and efficient, from the reception, security staff to housekeeping and bellboys. Check-in and check-out was quick. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Service was prompt, attentive and very pleasant. They certainly know how to create a memorable experience with random unexpected complimentary services. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel for a wonderful stay at Gulmarg.
