At walking distance from the main town and nicely laid out. The black coffee is great (bitter taste and well roasted) and so are the finger food. The Cafe is nice and cosy. Based on the set-up, there seems to be live bands performing on certain days. The Cafe is ideal for Bookworms and the couche is just perfect for that. The collection of book is to be complemented, covering a large spectrum of genre. For vintage lovers, there are some items of bygone decades to see.
However, despite all the good things about the Cafe, my heart ached to see the sight of those vinyl records crucified on the walls! . What a pity to see those records treated with no value. I tried to buy it but the owner declined - What a waste!
Would have loved to give it a 5 star but for a collector of vinyl record, it was a bloodbath!
The Urban Hub cafe is the best cafe in Mokokchung. It has beautiful ambience, good food and sets the tone for casual meetups with friends, family or for work. It is located in Dilong Ward. I am obsessed with korean noodles. It's a special recommendation from my side. Please try it if you can. You won't regret it.
This cafe is also popular for hosting events. It is very spacious and fits into the bill for hosting events. Most of the events in Mokokchung are hosted here.
In the corner, there is a space dedicated to book lovers. Bookipedia is a free library (needs membership). This corner really fills my heart since I read lots of books.
The Urban Hub Cafe is the most happening place in Mokokchung. Do visit.
To find this cafe in Mokokchung was an absolute delight! We visited for breakfast on 2 consecutive mornings right as they opened at 10 am. The coffee is excellent, but if there's no electricity (which is likely) then only their French press is available. Their sandwiches are wonderful, though the waffles could have been better (new cook, we were told). The ambiance is superb- all music themed- and they play great recorded music and even have live musicians. The kids enjoyed playing foosball and going through the library.
A pretty chill place for the good vibes to chime in. The aesthetics are commendable and the little library has enough collections to keep one coming. Not forgetting the simple but delicious foods that deliver well and do justice to the menu.
Although Mokokchung is not a very big commercial town , The Urban Huh cafe gives the vibe of a very commercial space in a very weird gully .
The vibe is a little hippie and the food is okay-ishh too!
The owner is kind and interactive.
- don't miss out their music sessions/ gigs that happens time to time.
We were looking for a coffee shop in Mekokchung town, on enquiring from the locals we were informed that there were no suitable places. We checked with Google baba and Beams Cafe was listed. We followed GMaps and were pleasantly surprised with exactly what we were looking for. A cozy, neat and clean place with a 'Bookworm' ambience from the shelves of books as well as the Musical Instruments lying around. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our time snacking!
Nice eclectic and quirky cafe in downtown mokokchung. Nice hosts and friendly staff Senti and Sungjemlila. Tasty Sub and burgers.
Lovely place in Mokokchung with a beautiful ambience, sensible songs at background...just a place to chill.. Great hosts too.. the staff even played with my son to keep him occupied when they where free. The food was good too !!
