The Treat - Fast food restaurant in Bandel, Chinsurah - Hooghly, India

Pure veg restaurant in Bandel. Their south Indian items are tasty and authentic. Variety of North and South India veg dishes available. The prices are also reasonable. It is a sweetshop with a variety of sweets not commonly available in other bengali sweetshops. The place is small and sometimes it gets a little crowded. It's a must visit if you're a vegetarian.

This is a pure veg restaurant. Visited on 23rd September, 2023.I love their food quality, just awesome and price is pocket friendly. Not atall rich food in terms of edible oil and chilliness. Light diet . One of the best South Indian restaurant in Hooghly. This is the best South Indian dish that I ever had.

For those who are specific to price.. Very Good quality south indian foods and also indian items , and more often the price is very low..

I have been a regular customer here since it was established which describes the food quality and taste but for the first time I am very much sorrowful with the behaviour of their staff. After waiting for a long time I had to shout to get served with my orders. They are just lazily moving on with their orders and gossiping in the peak time of work. I went on asking for the product price etc but no reply came from them. They were simply ignoring many of their customers. The owner must surely look into this matter to keep up with their goodwill.

Pure veg.. Good quality food, sweets available

The worst experience I had with it! Somehow one day I managed to get some breakfast from there and unfortunately I didn't have a single penny unless the UPI/ Online payment. I asked them could I pay them in Online instead of cash, they directly said yes you can but you have to pay more than the actual amount. I asked them why this was not the amount you are charging for! I had take 2 plates of Vada and the actual amount would be 70/- but they asked me to pay 100/- as I had no cash So this is the "Treat" I get from there. I don't think they deserve there brand name for this.

The Treat is a one-stop shop for all vegetarian food lovers. It is located a few meters from Bandel More towards Bandel Junction Station on the left hand side of the road. Here, not only will you get delicious South Indian dishes but also sweets and soft drinks. The place is usually crowded but the service is prompt. Their food packaging is really appreciable if you are opting for a parcel or takeaway option. This place is not only common among vegetarians but also well known among non-vegetarians. If the non-vegetarians decide to have any South Indian dishes this is their usual go to shop. Don't forget to drop by if South Indian dishes are on your mind.

Never buy any yoghurt items or the chowmiens. They serve you rotten smelling food. very inhygienic
