A beautiful place with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were neat and clean, the amenities need improvement, Ac in rooms were not effective they were just blowing air but not cooling the room. The hairdryer was not working. Swimming pool and kids play area were good Food was great we did have a complimentary breakfast and buffet lunch. Overall it was a great stay for the price we paid. Would definitely recommend it.
Went out for lunch on Sunday, sept 24 - we were a group of 7. The basement restaurant was not crowded. However, AC was on full blast-rather uncomfortable. Waitress Shital was nice. Service was very slow and haphazard. Lighting was bright and harsh. Food was very so-so. Background music was very bland, repetitive and soporific. Not visiting again.
I stayed here for two days and I must say that the service and amenities at Sunway Manor are one of the major highlights of my trip to Pondy. All the staff are courteous and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and pampered. Rooms are excellent and the food is great with plenty of options. Will certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.
Worst experience with the staff particularly the manager Lawrance. Booked a hall and separate dining room for family function but they sold the dining room to another person without our knowledge and served us lunch outside a toilet waiting room with handwash inside small toilets. Food service was poor and not as advertised for the high charges. Will never ever recommend this place to anybody for their cheap double standards and flawed service. In return for hotel response: Unfortunately I am forced to write this bitter feedback as was given directly by my family members and guests regarding low average food quality, improper dining hall standards with long wait for food and handwash inside small toilets. Sadly the truth cannot be sugarcoated by the hotel management. Worst service ever.
May not have sea view but nice place to stay in Pondy. Staff is customer friendly. Very neat. Nice food.. Better not to pick up alcohol from fridge, bit expensive..
The hotel is located in the prime area accessible to all places we would love to visit. Friendly staffs, very well maintained clean rooms, buffet with wide range of options, kids play area and Clean swimming pool.. what not.. on the whole had an unforgettable experience in this hotel and definitely I would prefer this hotel on my next visit to pondy and recommend to anyone who I know.. !!!
Hotel is good, neat and clean. The room was also good and spacious. In hotel dining was also great. My only issue was that it's very overpriced being far away from the centre of the city. And they also confuse people with breakfast/no breakfast type of bookings. If you are a tourist(like I was) try to avoid the place as it's far away from white town, pondicherry and it's a hassle to travel to places if relying on public transport.
