The Studio by Saakshi - Beauty Parlour in Shimla - Shimla, India

I'm delighted to share my review of Hair Studio by Saakshi on Mall Road, Shimla. As a student at Himachal Pradesh University, I've been a regular visitor to this fantastic salon for haircuts and beard grooming. The stylists here are true experts with a wealth of knowledge in their craft. One thing I really appreciate is their appointment system, which ensures you don't have to wait for hours to get your desired service. I got my pre-bridal services ( body polishing, manicure, pedicure and facial) and bridal make up from The Studio by Saakshi and I am really impressed with the results. My skin literally glowed days after the facial and I loved my bridal look! It was just as I wanted it to be- bold but subtle. The staff is really helpful and is keen in listening to the client's needs. My family was really happy with their party make up looks as well. Would definitely recommend The Studio for all your pampering needs.

Got 'acrylic' nails done, press on nails with light acrylic and gel polish on top. Very rough with the file, ruined my cuticles and several cuts and bleeding spots on them. Nails weren't well shaped, not even the same length on each hand. Started coming off the next day cause they only used nail glue to put them on. Cut off all my natural nails before they started too, so I'm left with nothing. 2550 rupees for quite a simple set of nails that didn't even last a full day. Wouldn't recommend.

Great salon for men and women with great hairstyle options. The staff is quite trained and competent besides being well conversant. The ambience is great. The only thing i didn't like is the open view where there no privacy for make customers. Otherwise it's an amazing place with options of spa, hair cut, facial, massage and everything that a salon has to offer. Prices are also quite genuine however offers will definitively be appreciated by people of the city as well as tourists. Nice place to be at all in all.

Wonderful interiors. The hosts music selection matches the ambience you need to relax. Great head massage and very professional service. Shall come by again. It's a whole different world inside.

I wanted a haircut and I showed the image of the haircut to the hairstylist there but he cut the hair like any other ordinary barber on the street. They are not the expert in hairstyles at all , they don't know how to cut modern day hairstyles. So it is good for only females maybe.
