Amazing place, one of the oldest hotel in jamshedpur has a beautiful ambience. You would really enjoy being at this place. The staff behaviour is really good.

It is a luxurious and modern hotel that offers an excellent experience for travelers. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel has great amenities, including a pool and multiple restaurants. Overall .

We often visit (every month) this place due to our official meeting during day time. problem is that during the meeting their staffs are moving and shouting severals time. Even when they installed buffet lunch for us do the same. i humble request the manager of hotel plz take serious concern on that part.

As a seasoned traveller, there are not many surprises which a hotel can spring on you ! Professional behaviour from any hotel staff is a given, but "The Sonnet" managed to leave me totally amazed, with a mind-blowing experience! I checked into Sonnet for a week, but somehow my work kept getting extended and I ended up staying for a month. Not only that, but I had to check back in, within a week for another 15 days, making it a 45 day stay. Anyone who had planned for a few days stay, but had to extend by months , knows how nerve wracking it can be. However, Hotel Sonnet made that experience simply a pleasure. On my arrival, the warmth and quick-to-service attitude of the doormen was reassuring and gave me the first taste of what was to come. My next moment of truth was at check-in - courteous staff, genuine smiles and very eager to help. The reservation and check in process was smooth, the room was neat and tidy - a little old but maintained well. Within the first hour of arriving, I was settled in and comfortable . From that moment on, the experiences of the hotel were just one delight after another. The housekeeping staff was amazing - very quick to service and never a hint of hesitation in considering any request. Extremely prompt responses and always with a touch of warmth. After a tiring day of work, returning to the hotel somehow felt like home . From the doorman to the front desk team asking how my day was, how I was feeling; was a surprise . I had hurt myself somewhere outside and when I reached the hotel after taking first aid, everyone was concerned as to why I hadn't sought their assistance. The steward who came to deliver food the next day enquired how I was feeling and offered hot milk with turmeric ( just felt like home ). I mean kindness and personalised service go a long way in winning people. The room service team knowing I was diabetic would suggest options or even call up and ask if I would like to have a certain dish they had prepared that day. Care does not come from process manuals - it comes from within and every staff at Sonnet seemed to have that DNA. If you are not hung up on branded hotels and want to experience professional service with genuine warmth, then this is the best place to be. PS : Did I say that as a single lady traveller, safety was my first concern - But the respectful and professional interaction of the staff (each one) made me feel comfortably safe and secure all through.

The most memorable day - I celebrated my marriage anniversary with my family. The best food , best service and excellent cooperation shared by staff. Thanks so much to Sonet and staff.

This hotel has the most idiotic front desk person with whom you can ever speak to. We had few guests coming in for whom we wanted to book a suite room. However, the reservation needed to be in our name and when I discussed this with the front desk they said booking can not be made if you are holding an id card with local address. I mean what kind of stupidity is this? I have travelled over 15 countries so I do know a thing or to about hotel reservations. These rules can only be made by people whose minds are gutter and have never stepped a foot out of one's house. I am never going to recommend this hotel to anybody.
