The Silvertips Munnar - Hotel in Munnar - Idukki, India

This place is of am era long gone, the place could have been opulent, but it is tired. The rooms are nice and clean, but if you look closely, the shower room is not really clean, the restaurant is old and food not really up to par, the people were very nice, but I felt the they were not sure if alcohol was paid for at reception, so altho very nice, not so well informed. We ordered a taxi, which was more expensive than we have ever paid for, so they were more interested in their cut. All in all an expensive place that promised more than it delivered.

We just visited their restaurant, ordered few things like Soups, chicken lollipop n chicken nuggets. Soups tasted nice. Others were all okay okay. The whole ambience of the restaurant was good and the toilets as well. Would definitely wanna stay sometime.

Great rooms with good views (prefer 3rd and 4th floor) Excellent Food ( cuisines from northern and southern India with veg and non-veg options) Staff is well mannered and courteous

This Is My Genuine Feedback About "The Hotel Silvertips" Located@ Munnar. I Really Enjoyed Staying At Silvertips With My Family And It Is One Of The Best Hotel Located At Main Town In Munnar. "Silvertips" Is A Cinema Themed Hotel With Lot Of Reputed Film Actors Cutouts And Pictures..Each Floor Had Different Cinema Themes And It Gave Me A Actual Theatric Effect And It Was Nostalgic!!! And Also I Came To Know About Famous Actors Have Stayed In This Beautiful Hotel. The Ambience Is Really Superb And The Architectural Work Was Very Creative And Picturized Like A Palace!! The Staffs Were Really Cooperative And Very Friendly With Smile In Their Faces. Mayabazar Restaurant Was Outstanding And Food Served Was Really Delicious And Appetizing!! Cleanliness Was Upto The Mark And Overall I Can Say It Is The Best Hotel In The Munnar Town For Spending Your Vacations With Evergreen Memories:)

Location of this hotel is the best as it is centrally located in the Munnar town and is walking distance to the Munnar stadium. It also provides wonderful scenic blessed premises with a great view of hill top and tea plantations. The idea to adopt Indian and international movie themes into the designing of rooms is really delightful. It will be the right choice to make your day memorable.

I will keep it straight and simple ARROGANT FRONT DESK EXECUTIVE I went to the hotel on 17/8/23 at 8pm to check in. Left the hotel at 8.10pm after looking at the attitude and arrogance of the person at front desk. I will not waste my time writing about such a man but just pity on him and his life which made him so arrogant.
