Today I had planned going to vayu kula , but since there was a private event they were closed for walk ins , so we went to riverside and I had a great time with fantastic service and great food ! The staff was so friendly and prompt ! The food I had was the best and the place was so peaceful and relaxing ! We could sit inside the shack or lay on the beach bed ! I've had a great day just by chilling and watching the sun setting ! Loved this place would like to stay there the next time ! Thank you to the wonderful courteous staff !
Wanted to enjoy a quiet day at the beach but got verbally abused by the rude guys manning the riverside/prana parking. The men were vile, threatening and was looking for a scrap. Spoke about this in Goa WhatsApp groups and other ppl have had similar experiences too. If you're in the area anyway, go to Woodpegger instead if you don't want a dehumanizing experience.
The rooms here are simple beach rooms, value for money, clean, AC and a great location. The restaurant is why u go here tho. Amazing food and a perfect spot to chill at the beach for hours.
I've been visiting riverside for the past few months, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The atmosphere is so peaceful and serene, with a stunning beach view. The food is delicious, especially their coffee, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Not to mention their volleyball court on the beach - you can't beat that! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting.
The service of The Riverside at Mandrem beach could also have 6 stars. It's a place that shines from the outside (beach front, beautiful sand garden, awesome restaurant area, situated at a not overcrowded beach that is beautiful, with great waves) AND the INSIDE: Joel and his team are very professional, very respectful and very helpful. Sometimes I even had some great laughs with them. My room (with AC) was very clean and was constantly being maintained as I stayed there for over two weeks. There are yoga and fitness classes in the hotel area - with the best view on the beach. The restaurant is very good too. It offers Indian, Goan as well as international food - and delicios deserts. Eventhough I live far away I'm quite sure I'll be back one day.
A lovely shack on Mandrem beach. The food and drinks are not very expensive and decently good. They don't have music playing but usually someone gets their speakers and plays some beats. It is a great place to just chill and watch the sunset. Can get a bit hot if there is no breeze coming in from the sea. Washrooms are ok. WiFi is good so you can work here
Went in the evening time for dinner. Parking is on the main street and then 5min walk to the place. The sitting arrangement is very good, loved the comfy chairs. Great view, awsome service and friendly staff. Food was delicious, would highly reccommend. I ordered medium rare steak but was overcooked, other than that food was really good. Would reccommend if you want nice relaxing delicious dinner facing beach with friends or family. Its a bit pricey but worth the money.
