The Raintree, St Mary's Road - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

We arrived late. Check in/out was seamless. Restaurant stayed open for us and the food and service was great. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Cost of stay was very reasonable. Thanks to all the staff. Will stay again.

Got a room for the day for changing & refreshing purposes. Very chic and neat. Serves the purpose. The only struggle was to handle the key card as it needs to be swiped even to access the floors where the rooms are. And the person in the room was without a power supply. Maybe we didn't exactly figure it out. But a great security feature. Have to commend the management for that.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Raintree. The hotel itself is beautiful with an amazing rooftop pool and terrace. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food, including breakfast, is incredible. A particular mention to Ash, the hotel concierge, who went the extra mile and helped me book a taxi for the day and ensured it was a fair and reasonable rate. As a solo traveler, this was a massive help and allowed me to explore the beauty of Chennai safely and on a budget.

Rooms were good. Breakfast was okay, Indian food was good but pastries and things like bread need to improve. Adding on service charge for wanting to have a quick dining in the lobby after to constantly ask for the staff to come over isn't great. They add on service charge on everything which in our opinion you shouldn't do in a Hotel. For Dinner or a meal it is different, also not sure if the staff even get the service charge... didn't sound like it! Just my opinion. Still had a good time, the interior is nice and staff overall friendly.

I dined with a friend at the rooftop restaurant here today. Great location, food tastes great, very inexperienced waiters. There were no placemats, cutlery, napkins on the table. We had to ask for cutlery. The management seems to be out of touch with professional hospitality practices. Used to be a great place. They have to invest more in training staff. All in all, a good place, if can live with nice folks who are ill trained. Food and drinks for two at about 5k.

A truly remarkable experience. The interior design exudes elegance and sophistication, the soft warm lighting and tasteful decor create a welcoming and pleasant, environment, with soothing music that sets the perfect mood. Dinner was a culinary delights, beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. An unforgettable evening I can't wait to repeat.

It had great comfortable luxurious rooms that are well maintained. Also the food is great that is served all the 3 times of the day. They have a vibe of European and South India in their food cuisine. Great place

Absolutely enjoyed our week at Chennai Raintree St Mary Hotel! Dushyant at the reception was super kind and helpfull and Kajal from the staff was exceptionally welcoming. Special shoutout to Arya, the baker, for crafting unbelievably delicious cumin butter cookies that became our favorites. The overall experience was fantastic - from the delightful food to the comfortable rooms, and the attentive staff. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!
