Nice place to visit. Govt should work a little in its improvement and development. A nice tourist attraction for those who have interest in exploring archeological sites of India.

Small museum with two exhibition rooms, Here kept the Terracotta bricks excavated from Pilak ancient site. The museum remains open every day. Easily accessible from NH 8. The museum is in Thakurani tilla excavation site. The staff is humble and welcomes the visitors with joy as less number of people visit here as of now, but this location is very important as per historical events. Just outside of this museum you will witness eight excavated temples of Surya. Just before this museum on the left hand side is Pujakhola ancient site. Don't forget to visit there too. No entry ticket as on Jan 2023. Small parking at the roadside.

One of the small museum and historical place in Tripura. Museum is well maintained but there are not enough sculptures to see, some are exported to different locations. Terracotta Plaques in different forms and different sculptures made of sandstone are showcased inside the museum. There is no entry fee. Recommended to those who loves history and interested to explore new things and places.

It's a beautiful place. We can see the historical monuments here. People who love to connect with history will love this place. Also this place is quite peaceful.
