The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. - Insurance company in Palakkad - Palakkad, India

Visited the spot few weeks back for transfer of insurance holder name after RC book ownership change. They asked to fill and submit a form which will be available there, along with that a copy of RC book ( photostat facility available in the same building) and Insurance original have to be submitted there. You have to bring the vehicle for this purpose. Once submitted you will be asked to wait for the officer to check the vehicle, if any damages are there, the cost of which won't be availed in upcoming Insurance claims. I had to wait for half an hour. Then you will have to pay an amount under Rs. 200/- as the transfer fee. Once that's done you will be provided with the new insurance policy document with another 15 minutes of time. The office was less crowded, Service wise quite satisfactory.

The office is situated near stadium bus stand slightly opposite to hotel malabar. The office is in 1st floor. The officers are quite good with customer. They are very fast and helpful

If you are applying for agency they wont let you to be an agent, ingot worst experience with them and one call from alathur division he called me and behave rude

warning: if you are going to become an agent then they wont allow you to be an agent. Im an lic insurance agent they are nice people and very helpful so i expect also from this palakkad new india assurance office. After qualifying the exam i waited for months and nobody contacted me or no response from this office so i contacted this office they said to wait and i asked anything formalities they said nothing. Also several months gone i contacted the office they said im not in charge contact new officer so i contacted him he told that he is new and want to wait. And months are gone i mailed head office not as a complaint but to didnt receive my agent details so they replied to contact officers . Suddenly on that day 2 guys contacted me one from this office the new officer and from alathur new india assurance office , the man from alathur office talking rubbish and shouted for mailing i asked what i did wrong. Then he hangup the call and fron palakkad office the new officer contacted and convince me to not to work with new india assurance and he advice me to look for other insurance. The pathetic situation i have faced from them. If you are looking for decent job dont go to this palakkad and alathur office only because of the officers.

Customer Services very very slow, name transfer 2 week ago, payment paid. but still not transferred.

Most of the time there won't be that much crowd It will take time if you are going to take or renewal of insurance for your vehicle because they need to check it first Still it will take little bit time for renewal most of the time Staff's are not even responsive The staffs didn't even cared to ask the customer's what they need They don't even care to help us if we don't know anything Attitude towards people is bad Overall experience was not that good !!!
