Nawegaon Nagzira Tiger Reserve (NNTR) is one of the most Bio Diverse Forest's in Maharashtra. Nawegaon and Nagzira Zones are connected by buffer and corridor but the gates for both zones are about 70km apart. The main entry gate for Nagzira are Chorkhamara and Pitezari. The main entry gate for Nawegaon are Kholi and Jambdi Nawegaon National park hosts a large lake which has recently been declared as a Bird Sanctuary. It is visited by thousands of Migratory birds in winters. your own SUV are permitted inside the park with Guides. Guides are mostly available at entry gates. Also jeep safari are available at the Gates.
