The Moksha Retreat, Kasar Devi A few minutes away from Kasar Devi is this beautiful quaint artsy resort! The food and service is spectacular and the vibe is just amazing! Its extremely calm and peaceful and view of the Himalayan range from here is spectacular! The staff is so humble and respectful that it will bring a smile to your face for sure. This resort is perfect for star gazing as well. This place is also known for leopard sighting if you get really lucky! An amazing place anyone looking for a stay at a great price! The way to the parking is a little complicated if you are new to driving in the mountains! All in all an absolute must stay when in kasar.

A lovely and peaceful experience at The Moksha Retreat. Best place to stay at kasardevi. Food was yummy , the staff was very helpful and cooperative. Always there to assist. I am recomend this place to visit and try their delicious food.

Perfect Location, nice food but but but. Rude manager, no timing followed. You can't ask them a cup of tea at 7AM! Can't expect toiletries in the washroom and calling them 3 star!! Management is very poor. You are in hospitality industry guys. Your behavior/attitude matters a lot. Wish you good luck.

Moksha Retreat,,, what a beautiful place,, what beautiful people!! I lost my phone on the mountain and found it back broken. The owner and Mera bhaja did everything to help me. A few days bhaja and I went down the mountain to Almore to fix the mess. The entire crew is super lovely and kind. They help you with anything. Please treat this crew with respect. I will definitely come back. Hot water is always available and that is rare up the mountains. Rooms are very spacious and nice! The entire place is where you can do walking meditation. Many nice places to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of Nanda Devi Mountain, even Nepali mountains can be seen. It's an absolute pleasure to go to Moksha Retreat. Again many thank to Dhruv the owner, super friendly and always helpful. And Mera bhaja and all the crew, much love to everyone!!

The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, ranging from local delicacies (Mutton Bhang) to variety of other dishes and cuisine (ps:momos are their specialty), all prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients was evident in every bite, and I found myself eagerly looking forward to each meal. The chefs at The Moksha Retreat have truly mastered the art of creating culinary delights that tantalize the taste buds and leave you craving for more. Additionally, the presence of a beautiful (and well lit during the nights) gazebo with 360-degree views allowed us all to immerse completely in the beauty of the surroundings and soak in the tranquility of nature. The accommodations at The Moksha Retreat were simple , clean, well maintained and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could desire for a long comfortable and secure stay at the location. Apart from the outstanding food, impeccable service, and breathtaking location, The Moksha Retreat also offers a range of activities and facilities to enhance the overall experience. Whether it's yoga and meditation sessions (happening locally in town), or exploring the nearby hiking trails, there is something for everyone at this retreat location. Bikes (yes.. Enfield, the new Scram 411 too) and Scooters are also available on rent with them at very reasonable rates. The staff was always on hand to provide guidance and assistance in planning activities, ensuring that guests could make the most of their time at the retreat. And yes....We also has a bonfire one night and it simply made everything seem better. In conclusion, our stay at The Moksha Retreat was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, breathtaking location, and a range of activities made it a truly memorable experience. If you're seeking a haven of bliss and beauty, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I wholeheartedly recommend The Moksha Retreat. It is a place where your senses are awakened, your soul finds solace, and memories are created that will last a lifetime. A huge shout out to the property manager who is a true seeker of peace and tranquility, he lives on the property to ensure that all aspects of the guest's stay are looked into on priority. He does make a world of difference.

Mannerless owner/staff. The location of this place is good ngl but the catch of this place is with the owner of this so-called hotel. This guy name dhruv which claims to be the owner of this resort is a total fraud or cheat whatever is the perfect term to call him. He has a monopoly of bike rentals in binsar and he clearly misused that with us by charging us twice the amount of the bikes which we as a tourist had rented. The manager/owner of this hotel is so arrogant that you can even get in fight with this guy, on clearing our points about the timings for which we've hired the bikes he got so angry that we we as tourists got scared of our lives. Pathetic place to be in just because of this guys ill mannered behaviour.
