Hotel was exceptional centrally heated lovely staffs, food was also excellent. Hotel is very close to main market so you don't need to pay extra money to go to the main market. Overall one of the best experience of my life . Leh is beautiful place and it's people are very kind and humble.

This is one of the best hotels in a holly area I have ever stayed in, the staff is super friendly and is ready to work on your every request. Just a request to my fellow travellers- Please don't expect when you go to such difficult terrains like leh and the staff there is doing to so much for you. Please appreciate that. On my arrival, i was greeted by a staff and they provided kahwa and it was delicious. I got my room , quick check-in process. I asked to change the room as the one which I had booked was without balcony, I requested for a room with balcony and I was upgraded to the one with balcony with no cost. I asked for my dinner which was included in the room cost to be sent to my room. They graciously accepted it. Next day breakfast was amazing and when I was leaving for my further journey towards pangong and khardungla they even packed me sandwiches cut fruits. I don't know if you can't call all this a good hospitality, then what is and one best thing was every staff will always welcome you with a smile and a genuine smile. Special thanks to hotel staff: Pawan,Yangchen,Carien

The hotel has created much hype and too costly. It failed to meet our expectations. Although the food served in dinner was delicious but paneer fiasco for a vegetarian was a blunder. The hotel was also not punctual about their breakfast timings of 7:30 AM and wasted about an hour in preparing it. Such a high ended property is expected of better hospitality.

Indus valley boasts of itself as a five star property. We stayed in leh for two nights and booked this property for one night. While the room charges were double that of our other property, indus valley hotel failed to give us a memorable experience. The property and rooms are well maintained but in-room dining menu is very limited. When we ordered for paneer tikka, the room service person told us that they are out of paneer. Secondly when we switched on the tv , none of the channels were coming on their dth. Their receptionist could not resolve our issue and we had to call the GM for it. He resolved the issue and we could watch cricket match. They are also not keeping mineral water in rooms and only giving RO water which is not acceptable as per industry standard. Overall our experience of the property was not as expected.

Be prepared to switch on your torches because hotels don't think it's important to lit the place at night if it's not fully occupied. Next, the room... Incompatible furniture in room that occupy 90% of the area leaving no space to walk without banging into something. Space to keep your luggage allows only one suitcase. Not that the view is promising, but you can't open the window, because mosquitoes... Our room had a bath tub, which was the only good thing about it. Moving to the so called complementary breakfast... Now, I have experienced a lot of breakfast buffets in my small life, but never have I ever tasted such horrible food for buffet. Omelet made in stale oil with pan's black polish is an abomination! Bread pakoda, poori that can squeeze out enough oil to fry 2 more pieces each. No south indian variety in 2days, poha had tandoori flavored capsicum, chola that tasted of sour curd... WHAT EVEN!!! And all this not even ready till 9 when the buffet closes by 10:30. Thanks to the unpalatable food, we got upset stomach for 2 days... In addition, if you think food in general might be better, dont even bother. We ordered dal chawal and grilled chicken for dinner on the day we arrived, but God knows that those pieces of chicken were drier than the coal pieces on which they were grilled. That dal... The chef should go back to the culinary school before serving that! And lastly, "best part" of our stay... The service!!! So, before arriving, I spoke with reservation team and asked if they can arrange an oxygen cylinder. They said yes, and that the team on reception will "assist". Which they did, they asked upon my arrival if I need the cylinder immediately and I asked to keep it on standby if needed. After a few hours, I asked and the hotel staff did send a mini cylinder to my room, told me how to use it and left. 1 day later, we had to checkout and after completing all the formalities, the guy standing at the reception said, that I am suppose to pay Rs. 2500 for the cylinder. Now, hear me out... 1. I was coming from Hunder and the hotel their provided the cylinder at no cost. While I understand that this cannot be a standard practice for all hotels, but if a product or service is chargeable, is the hotel staff not expected to inform the guest in advance or at any point during the stay? If you are charging the entire re-fill price than you are obligated to show me that it was full when I received and thatI will be charged accordingly? So, from reservation guy, to the receptionist and then later the hotel staff, no one said a word and at the last moment, right before leaving, you expect me to pay an anonymous amount because I had a flight to catch? 2. I understand that services are not provided for free at any hotel, but if the hotel can take pains to print a damn price chart for a 20rs lays packet and charge it at 100, then they better have the price for an oxygen cylinder mentioned somewhere! In a 30mins conversation, even after asking 10-15times for providing me with a document where the price is mentioned, the team couldn't come up with a SINGLE FREAKING DOCUMENT and kept saying, "Let us talk to our manager" who btw, was a door away and didn't even have the courtesy to talk to us. 3. When I said that I would like to make a videoof all this, the guy at reception bluntly said, "Madam meine aap se koi badtameezi nahi ki hai"... AS IF!!! And that this is the price for refilling an oxygen cylinder in Leh. I pointed out that even in covid times, in a city like Delhi with a severe oxygen crunch didn't charge that much for a full medical grade cylinder than how come it's so expensive here. And if that's the case, share a proof with me. To which he conveniently didn't reply. After wasting my 30mins, he made me pay half the amount, i.e. Rs. 1250, without providing any proof of the price and a sorry face saying, that after discussing with the reservation team, we will refund your money which was like a month back! Now, they can keep the money, but take this review very seriously, coz I rarely write such elaborate ones ever!

Good hotel in Leh...great central location and friendly service. Neutral/ standard hotel room decor. Nice garden space to relax with your group(we were about 15ppl)/ family after walking through Leh's streets and the market. We did not have a good experience w.r.t. the food though- some attention is required in this quarter.

Our stay at Indus valley was one of the best hotel experience we ever had. Initially we booked for 2 nights but after getting a taste of the staff hospitality we extended for 1 more night. Rooms are spacious and have great view. Food especially North Indian is very good. During our stay we met the Hotel General Manager who made sure we had a good stay. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Leh. We hope to visit again.

The first look of the hotel was mesmerizing. The location, the infrastructure and the service was top notch. The hotel staff is very cooperative. We had a concern of getting a bigger room for 3 occupancy, and Stanzin Sonam (Reception) was really very nice to hear our concern and ultimately helped us get an upgraded stay to a more spacious accommodation. The food was also very nice. We were welcomed by a welcome drink.Everything was amazing and completely worth the stay. I can enjoy here with my colleagues because of a very professional staff and aesthetic infrastructure.
