The Horizon by David Residency - Cafe in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

We visited on a Sunday evening, Ambience was really good. It took us about 1 hour 20 mins to get our food. Which was not hot. Taste was also not good, probably because it's just warm. I don't know how they function with less people but on weekends they definitely need to increase the number of staff.

Except for the view, other things are not at all worth. Service is pathetic, took 2 hours to prepare foods for 6 people. Glasses were not provided and sufficient plates were not served. Parking space is not available. Food is ok, but they could have done it better.

We can enjoy great view of shillong from the restaurant and the staffs are also very hospitable and service was excellent

This place is horrible. First of all, it's too far from the main city location. Second, the management is too bad. They don't address customer's needs. You can't close some doors between two rooms, so privacy will be gone. Geysers don't work properly. You will not get quality food also. Nearby restaurants are far from that place. Moreover, there are two housekeeping boys who only know local language. Overall very bad experience. Not recommended at all.

In the outer. Driving here is difficult for amateurs. The cafe upstairs is brilliant. The bathroom needs clothes hangars but has good basic facilities and common electric kettles Sunset at the hotel is a great experience

Went there once,I highly recommend this place. It is ideally located away from the din of city life, has a designated car park with ample parking space, spacious interior and an excellent view of Shillong city(you can see from the pics).The place makes for an ideal evening hangout. As far as the food is concerned, it's palatable, but I must add, the menu items are quite diverse.

Has an awesome view. And you'd definitely want to visit it in the evening, or late afternoon. Has this outdoor/rooftop dining arrangement, which is great for non-rainy days. The place has a kind of irreplaceable ambience and I feel not many people visit because it seems a bit far from the main city. The food is good. The people are really gentle: even offered me a charger when I asked for one. Also allows music in the background. Has wifi. Allows payment using cards. Great experience!

PATHETIC SERVICE, served cold food after we waited for more than an hour, finger food was soggy, French fries was stale and food was served without cutlery on Valentine's day. Everything was rubbish apart from the view. No pleasant customer service. Served dirty "used" wine glasses with "lipstick stain" on it and the best part is they charge 32%cgst and 32% gst lol. CHAOTIC, BIG LOOT and RUBBISH. Jessica if you read this I've been very very dissatisfied and annoyed by the experience!!!!!!!!! NOT WORTH ONE OR HALF A STAR Parking was also very chaotic. Please note: I didn't want to do this dirty but if you don't have staff and there is a heavy sale, please keep a full house sign board. Please provide good service. People don't go there to eat for free. FYI I didn't see license number for brewery.
