Excellent experience we had with the service and taste of food as well. I'm so glad to share. That the owner and workers are so loyal, we forgot our belongings and they kept it safe. We went back after a day and they returned it. We felt like humanity is still alive in these places. Not a matter of cost the food is delicious and the ambiance is awesome. They provide heaters on snowy days. It's a great experience and highly recommended. Perfect for budget and good food cravers.
Excellent service and variety at Gulmarg cafe. The service is impressively fast and the quantity is good for the price. The ambience is cosy. We ordered chicken shawarma, pasta and chicken steak with garlic sauce which came with a side of grilled veggies. The shawarma was ok , the steak and pasta were good . All of the mojitos I've tried are good but make sure to ask about the citrus levels , some are highly citrus which i like but may not appeal to everyone.

The cafeteria is good and affordable for everyone especially tourists. It is a newly opened one and the menu is also quite good. Worth to visit for budget travellers.

We were there last week. After 10 days eating right, gushtaba and Roshan Josh, even a carnivore like me was longing for veggies and dal! The Gulmarg Cafe is the answer. The parathas, the zeera also and Daltrey just out of this world, and Waseem Lala, who looked after us, is the cherry on the cake! I'm still salivating!
We had Kashmiri Pulav. It was 6/10. Mr. Wasim was helpful and talkative. The cafe is small but the food is delicious.
